Millies Cookies do make the best cookies in the U.K and seeing as I adore cookies I just have to try one every time I walk past. These are the best quality cookies ever, they are not at all burnt and are instead soft and doughy, yum! There are a lot of different types of cookies but all are amazingly delicious. This store is always very clean when I go in and the staff are nice and polite and friendly, they are always willing to answer any questions about the cookies which is good for those who have allergies as they can find out which cookies are suitable for them. There is often a long queue for these but itâ¬"s worth waiting as you wonâ¬"t get a better cookie anywhere and the queue is only because the cookies are so good that everybody wants oneâ¬¦ or twoâ¬¦ maybe three.

Rating: 3.00Flame is the kind of place that looks a bit shabby and like any old food place along your average high street, but the food is surprisingly good.

The kebabs are great, and the staff don't mind making a sort of custom kebab for you, if you have a hatred for any of the basic kebab ingredients (I don't like half the stuff they normally put in kebabs). Also, they're nice in that they put more of everything else to balance it out :)

The chips match up to the standard set by the kebabs and don't taste like they're so unhealthy that they're killing you on the spot. The drinks are normal drinks.

The place itself is quite small - there's no/few seats (it's changed a few times, so I don't know what it's like right now) so Flame is a takeaway really.

Thorntons is well-known for its excellent quality chocolates, and this small Thorntons shop is no different.

Admittedly, it is a bit too small for my liking - a bigger shop would have even more chocolate! But the shop is full of chocolates, fudge, toffee, fruit jellies, and more! You can even buy ice cream (with a choice of several flavours!)

The chocolates are mouth-wateringly delicious. My only problem is my allergy to nuts (not too severe, but there all the same) and unfortunately, the staff can't always assure me that certain chocolates are completely nut-free. But they do helpfully point out certain things that they know to be nut-free. In fact, the staff are very nice and helpful on the whole.

There are many days when I'll walk through Brent Cross and see a queue for the Thorntons ice cream that pretty much blocks everyone's path! It just goes to show how good the ice cream is as well.

Thorntons would be amazingly brilliant, if it weren't for the prices of these great sweets. A little bit cheaper and I'd never leave! But as it is, Thorntons is good for a gift for someone special, or a treat for yourself. But definitely not for everyday chocolate needs.
