There are no thrills with this place, not even a toilet, it is perfectly situated opposite Greenwich park on the very busy blackheath hill. Everyone from cabbies, motorcyclists, to lorry drivers stop here, its nothing fancy, standard food, hot and cold drinks, fairly reasonable prices. I personally like this place, it is what it is, no pretense, if your passing and you fancy a cup of tea or a bacon butty pull over and give it a go.What can you say about a wooden hut at the side of the road, well quire a lot actually, this place has been there for years, offering the usual bacon butty and a cup of tea by the side of the road. <title>Park Cafe Greenwich - sheer heaven by gard3n3r</title>

The cafe in Greenwich Park, is situated at the top of the hill close to the observatory. It offers a decent standard of fare although at the usual tourist trap prices, it is clean and has good seating both inside and out, but i have to say, short of a cup of tea, i wouldnt really pay their prices, if i were coming to Greenwich park, i would pack myself a nice picnic and sit on the acres of grass available, save your money, until the kids pester you for an ice-cream. Worth it for a cup of tea though. Is there really anywhere quite like Greenwich park, especially on a hot sunny day.
