Since I am like to live nearby I visit Everest Inn quite frequently and I have never been disappointed once, in fact it is my favourite Indian restaurant in London. The staff are always extremely polite and ready to accommodate our needs and the food is split between usual curryhouse dishes (they do a very good Tikka masala and korma) and Nepalese specialties. Since they have a tandoor oven some of the best dishes are the ones cooked in it, such as the Tandoori Prawns which melt in the mouth (you don't even need a knife to cut them, they're so tender you can part them witha fork!) and the Peshwari naan breads are some of the best we've had.Since I am like to live nearby I visit Everest Inn quite frequently and I have never been disappointed once, in fact it is my favourite Indian restaurant in London. The Railway conveniently just up from the real railway station. I was here a few Fridays ago. I'm a big-time cider drinker and was greatly impressed by the range of ciders they had on draft - literally loads - more than I've seen in any other pub. I think the same can be said with the beers and lagers - although I'm a bit of a novice on this. There was also live music from a band who played a good mix of popular and Indie rock songs which gave the place a fantastic and friendly atmosphere - although at first due to the singing I thought it was karaoke.

The name is fairly appropriate- because the place is cool. It's cool in the fact that on site they brew their own beer. It's really not that amazing to look at - just a few pipes and a couple of metal vats. My problem with the pub is that they do not serve any type of cider - and I'm a cider drinker first.

It gets very busy on the weekends while still trying to be a restaurant as well. I see couples trying to enjoy a romantic dinner downstairs with people all around. I would never come here to eat (especially not at the weekend anyway). I can't comment on the food having never tried it. We normally pop in for a drink or two before going elsewhere. But you might as well pop in for one to try the beer and check out the brewery!

On a sunny day this is the place to be. There's lots of garden space in the back (has gas heaters), a few wooden benches so you can sit out the front or failing that you can get them to put your pints in a plastic cup and take them to sit on the heath and lap up the British sunshine. That is definitely the selling point of this pub - that you can sit and drink on the heath at the height of summer. I've spent many a-afternoon sitting outside on the heath in the sun.On a sunny day this is the place to be. What can you say about a wooden hut at the side of the road, well quire a lot actually, this place has been there for years, offering the usual bacon butty and a cup of tea by the side of the road. There are no thrills with this place, not even a toilet, it is perfectly situated opposite Greenwich park on the very busy blackheath hill. Everyone from cabbies, motorcyclists, to lorry drivers stop here, its nothing fancy, standard food, hot and cold drinks, fairly reasonable prices. Rating: 3.00Like a lot of pubs in Blackheath, this one became the in place to be at one point, on a summer evening there were hundreds of people outside, having a laugh and enjoying a drink, then someone from the councils office of lets stop the fun, showed up and put an end to all that, so the crowds of bright young things moved on to pastures new. What were you left with, well actually a pretty decent pub, not the in place to be, but decent all the same. It does a loverly pint of bodingtons, and the atmosphere is happy and relaxed,friendly bar staff.

Park Cafe Greenwich - sheer heaven by gard3n3r

Rating: 4.00Is there really anywhere quite like Greenwich park, especially on a hot sunny day. The cafe in Greenwich Park, is situated at the top of the hill close to the observatory. It offers a decent standard of fare although at the usual tourist trap prices, it is clean and has good seating both inside and out, but i have to say, short of a cup of tea, i wouldnt really pay their prices, if i were coming to Greenwich park, i would pack myself a nice picnic and sit on the acres of grass available, save your money, until the kids pester you for an ice-cream. Cafe Rouge is back on form thank goodness after a rocky patch last year the management have got the service and quality back where it belongs.
Goood food here from a wide ranging menu with friendly service.

Had lunch here the other day.

Service is well timed and not intrusive.
The menu has something for everyone.
Roast dinner..seafood pasta...very nice prawns..speck..lasagne ..garlic bread was very good.
We had a good lunch including wine for Â£10 a head.
All fresh and the puddings are worth saving room for.Had lunch here the other day.

This is a reasonably large restaurant in Lee Green with a garden area and live music on a Friday/Saturday.

The staff are friendly and quick to get you a drink but sadly the food really isn't up to scratch. The meat was overcooked and the 'grilled' meat seemed microwaved. All the dishes are presented on a limp salad and share the same lack of flavour

We booked Cave Austin for 8 people for my mums 50th Birthday. We had a nice table at the side of the restaurant which was really nicely decorated. Service was excellent we never waited or had to ask twice for anything. Food was very tasty and there was plenty of choice. Cave Austion also have a club under the restaurant which you can get into for free if you have eaten in there, we didn't visit the club on this occasion but would next time!We booked Cave Austin for 8 people for my mums 50th Birthday.
