When you first see the queue for this shop, you might be forgiven for thinking that is exactly what you will be when you reach the counter. Absolutely starving. However that is not true at all. The queue is also there for a reason. The food is delicious and its not a secret anymore! The bacon baguettes are my favourite - the bacon is so crispy and tasty! However they have quite a varied menu so all tastes will find something they enjoy. Their soups are also known far and wide and they have a changing menu for these as well. This is essentially our local wine shop and so I am likely to love it. It is a 'concept' shop, in that the wine is divided into wine types, for example, 'fresh and lively' and each type is separated into price bands, starting at around Â£5 and finishing at about Â£20. this may not appeal to those that consider themselves wine buffs but I like wine and have developed an interest over the years and I like the shop. The wine is of good quality and they rotate the stock frequently so you may discover some new ones. They also do wine tastings on Tuesdays but I have yet to go to one.This is essentially our local wine shop and so I am likely to love it. This place sold me some Smirrnoff Vodka. It was actually full of dirty tap water. I went back to the shop and got a refund straight away. It was obvious that they were scamming people whom they thought were drunk or perhaps wouldn't come back.
