Oh dear it is really piss poor and actually inferior to chilled curry's from supermarkets.

I would like to recommend Holy Cow to the Ramsey's which has another branch in Blaham and unlike The Boybay Bicycle (built up by Clapham House from a one off original to mutiple take away hubs and restaurants ).

The ingredients are excellent - good quality chicke , lamb as opposed to ancient cheap mutton and superb vegetables be they aubergines , okra as well as pulses lentile and chick peas. You can request variable spicing and in effect a bespoke high class takeaway.
Apparently Gordon and Tara Ramsey swear by The Bombay Bicycle Club Takeaway in Battersea. It's not unheard of to get a lamb shish from Istanbul Kebabs sober. So they must be good. Especially when smothered in garlic sauce and chilli.

The only bad thing is that they shut far too early. On many occassions I've called them up on the way back from a night in the West End only to find out they shut early during the week. So I arrive home, hungry, drunk and heartbroken. They could utilise the space much better. But for an upmarket fish and chip shop it was pretty good.
We had oysters to start with onion viniagrette which were delicious and then battered cod and haddock with mushy peas, traditional chips and sweet potatoe chips. Actually thye choice of fish was pretty endless and you can have it cooked any way you so desire. I think next time I would have my fish grilled as the fish was a little lost in my batter. It was a gret experience -really good fun and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain all the menu and the variations on the menu.
