The sense of history, knowing that one of the most famous writers in the world wrote all his works specifically for this stage, is unlike anything I have ever felt before. Yes, I was very VERY excited. We stood with our £5 tickets and saw a non Shakespeare production in the pouring rain- it was brilliant. There are seated tickets but the seats to the side of the stage have a restricted view, and if you are after comfort then back and seat cushions can be hired for an additional fee. Personally, I would definitely go for standing tickets as you are easily able to move and there is a fantastic atmosphere to be found in â¬Sthe pitâ¬
