I knew I was onto a winner when I stepped into Fifi Wilson in Covent Garden when I walked past Sharleen Spiteri on her way out.
Apparently, they have quite a large celebrity following! Luckily, you don't have to have the bank account of a celeb to shop there though. The shop is filled from ceiling to floor with beautiful gift ideas and absolutely gorgeous clothes. What a fab little boutique! I have just discovered Fifi Wilson's Chelsea store, just off Kings Road and I am kicking myself that I have only just found this little treasure box. I am so pleased, I have managed to find the perfect dress for my Christmas party and for Christmas Day. The Disaya faux fur dress for my Christmas do will guarantee to be a show stopper and the Gabby Harris black and cream dress for Christmas Day is elegant yet still fun with the cute bow on the front. I am now looking forward to Christmas more than ever!

If you wander away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus, you will come across Connaught Village, a charming slice of Village London. One of these is Weardowney, a lovely shop full of unique knitwear plus a diverse mix of designer pieces. The shop itself has the feel of private dressing room, full of covetable treasures. Inside you will find one of Servane Gaxotteâ¬"s quirky doll pendants, sitting alongside a perfectly delicate knitted dress or wrap. The shop operates like a gallery, bringing in a carefully selected mix of designers to compliment Weardowneyâ¬"s own signature knitwear. Let me give you some information about them ...
They have got a little shop but with vibe in Notting Hill Gate just 1 minute away from the underground and towards Portobello.
They Also have a website and send the items worldwide. They accept all major card payments as well as paypal ...
By the way until December they will be having an Autumn Offer. With that you will be able to buy the items without paying for the postage and handling ... They call it Free-World-Wide-Delivery ...

Other than that ... pretty cool shop ... One of my favourite spots in London ... Totally recommendedHey guys ...

Jermyn Street is home to many great shops to buy men's clothing, so there is a lot of competition. I have visited Herbie Frogg a few times and I consistently received poor service. It is unfortunate because some of the clothes are acceptable, particularly for the price. However, it is not worth a visit given the poor treatment from staff (they are out-of-date, rude and unprofessional) you are likely to receive, which is likely why they now have signs indicating they are closing down... let's hope a better shop takes its place.Jermyn Street is home to many great shops to buy men's clothing, so there is a lot of competition. I can't believe what a gem I found! Having read the review prior to my visit I had my doubts but I have to say the ladies in there where very helpful and friendly not to say AMAZING clothes. I have a wedding to go at the end of the month in India. My Rumanian girlfriend who is getting married to an Indian recommended O'nitaa. I found two out of five outfits that I need and one of them is been made to measure by one of the designers and delivered to my hotel in Chandigar! What a service. I have to add, sometimes we have bad experienced in stores (is like if I walk into Chanel and start taking pictures, I'll be thrown from there within seconds) and I am not one to write reviews but these ladies made me feel so special that I had to give them credit. I was even treated to a glass of vino!!!I can't believe what a gem I found! I can't even give this shop a rating! One is too many. The service is the worst I have ever had. Countelss problems, I was shouted at by the owner when I asked about a price. I was told I should be "grateful" for a standard discount applied. Appointments always late, or the shop locked. (probably in fear of other disgruntled customers) When I asked the owner if she had ever read any reviews that I had now seen, she laughed at me, and said that reviews don't count. I've been in the business for 19 years. Well if this review stops one single person having to go through the experience I have, then it was worth it. Terrible service. My girlfriend bought a pair of gold shoes from this shop, which fell apart within a week. They then refused to refund the money or exchange them and were extremely rude in the process.

Don't try to refund/exchange anything at Mahir London without an argument with the manager.

You you will get a flat out NO!!

I wanted to get a refund for a shalwar kameez that was clearly faulty and had not been sewn properly in the factory.

It was clear that the item was faulty and Mustafa the manager, tried to argue with me that a refund will not be given as i had done it ??? Hey???? The item was packaged and sealed and there was no thread on some parts of the otem

Yet he was breaking the law and not offering a refund for faulty items.

Also when you visit the shop be VERY WARY as many items do not have prices advertised as required by British Law, the manager had no idea about consumer rights and had a very bad attitude. Staff are not very helpful and dont speak english and only speak benglali which is not very helpful

I will never shop at Mahir London again and I suggest we all boycott that store untill they change their terrible policies and business practices.

Avoid it everyone, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
