I've been a massive fan of Hell Pizz since traveling in New Zealand and when I found out they'd opened a store in Fulham I was extremely excited.

There isn't really anything you can compare it too but I can say it's the best pizza I've ever had! and the side dishes are delicious. There's something on the menu for everyone and the unusual choice of toppings will have you hooked!

Ever since I was kid living in the States Iâ¬"ve always been into diners. Even as a kid I think I realized these places were free of pretention. Just comfort foods enjoyed by all walks of life. Fast forward 25+ years I find myself in London searching for the same experience.

Today a friend of mine took me to a M. Manze a pie and mash shop which has been around since the late 1800â¬"s. Stepping into the shop you immediately get the feeling this place is the real deal. Old school bench seating and a menu thatâ¬"s so refreshingly simple, itâ¬"s kind of funny.

I ordered the 2 pies and 2 mash plate with a cup of hot Sarsaparilla. Yes Sarsaparilla! As my friend remarked it tasteâ¬"s â¬SOlde Timeyâ¬

This is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants that I have had the opportunity to eat at in London. The tiny front window with its low-key style could easily turn you down, but as soon as you enter the space, you are blown away: fragrances, carved-wood decorations, hanging masks, smiles on the staff faces... Simply great.

The food was also great, with an extensive selections of SE Asia specialities of different degree of spiciness, for all tastes: I opted for some Chicken serunding and plum tomato paneer and Thai basil salad as a starter, followed up by beef rendang with yellow rice and pineapple pajeri. And the desert? Fresh papaya cubes covered in a mango lassi and a scoop of lemongrass sorbet.

I believe I've just had a perfect Trusted Places experience. I mean, this is exactly what this site was created for.

I had 2 sisters (one eating for two) and their other halves in town for the weekend. The theatre tickets were sorted, just needed a good eatery to round out Saturday.

It was short notice, but I knew I wanted somewhere pretty close to home, good vibe, not a wallet killer and my sisters both love Spanish food. Quick search on TP revealed El Parador. The recommendations from a couple of reliable people spoke for themselves, so I got the number and booked us in.

I would never have found or thought of this place without TP. And it was as good as Mez, soks and all the other reviewers said it was.

My recommendations: chicken thighs are the best thing we had (and we had most of the menu!), roasted sweet potato, chicken liver, meatballs should be ordered.

I would not recommend the grilled halibut, which was very low on flavour. However, I pointed out to the very friendly waitress that the halibut disappointed me, and she promptly insisted we wouldn't pay for it.

All in all a first rate eatery. Totally unpretentious, extemely tasty, swift and friendly service and excellent value (5 people, 3 bottles of wine, about 20 dishes, all for Â£30 per head).

This is one of the few French places I know that's not pretentious or overpriced. Good, solid, classic French food at bargain prices. All the food I've had here has been of a high standard, though nothing has ever stood out as amazing, but I'd be happy to go back anytime to see what's new.

The staff are friendly and helpful, though I haven't had need to test their knowledge yet. The small tables can get a little crowded, but get one by the window anyway! Nid Ting is an unassuming restaurant with very reasonably prices that serves up the best Thai food I've had this side of Thailand. It's better than a lot of the food I had in Thailand, too. Very traditional, friendly and very, very good. The Hot & Sour Soup is perfect, as are the Red, Green & Jungle curries. The chef's specials are superb - my favourite so far is the Steamed Tailapia which was perfectly cooked and delicately flavoured.

Since leaving San Francisco earlier this year, I have been suffering serious taco withdrawal. My lunch repertoire included a weekly visit to my local truck for some carnitas and carne asada tacos. Iâ¬"m happy to report that Iâ¬"ve finally satisfied my taco fix.

I stumbled across this little gem this past week. For those looking for an authentic taco experience, I whole heartedly recommend you get to cool Chiquita Taqueria. They serve up good â¬Sstreet styleâ¬

Le Garrick is a nice place to have dinner on a Saturday night in Covent Garden.

The food is not outstanding but quite good for the price paid. Â£12 for a reasonably good confit de canard is amazing value in Covent Garden. The menu consists of the "usual suspects" for affordable French restaurants in England (entrecote, confit de canard, moules, onglet, etc...). The bill came to about Â£25 per person (we had wine, desert, and coffee).

Although the decoration is a bit tacky (think French bella italia), the atmosphere is extremely nice. We were a party of five and were given a nice table in a little alcove that felt like we had our own private room. Wonderful atmosphere too.

Service was extremelly good. It was the waiter's first day, and he was keen to impress (and did, too).

If you're looking for Argentine beef, this is the place to go.

Having lived in Buenos Aires for two years, I always enjoy going to Santa Maria del Buen Ayre. They took the best of Argentinean restaurants (the beef) and added proper service and confortable seats.

Do not expect refinenement, a parilla is simply beef that's grilled steak till it's very well done. It's perfect for meat lovers.

The atmosphere is nice as well, informal and packed with people having a good time. Service is consistently friendly and efficient.

Pricewise it may be a bit expensive given that's it's just a parilla place. You'll be paying 8 times BA prices for food and 16 times for wine, but you're in London. That amounts to about Â£20-30 per person total.If you're looking for Argentine beef, this is the place to go.

Comptoire Gascon serves simple dishes from the South West of France. Although the simplicity of the food allows them to keep prices down, they use only top quality ingredients.

The result is a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price.

The atmosphere is a bit too "fake cafe" for myself. A cafe can be confortable too, no need to cram us on tables that are too small to impress.

I went to this restaurant twice.
The atmosphere is very nice, the decoration is clean and sober, although it will not win any awards.
The food is why you should go. It is inventive and absolutely delicious. Although clearly influenced by your typical curry place, the food is very different. Every dish is inventive and delicious. Overall a nice renewal of british-indian cuisine.
Price wise, we paid about Â£45 pounds per person. A reasonable price for the quality, but I am sure that there are better deals out there.

Iâ¬"ve been to Los Locos twice, first with my company & then I took my girlfriend. On both occasions I had an absolutely brilliant time. We ate heartedly, drank copiously & danced till 3 in the morning. The food was really good quality and there was loads of it. Considering the price we paid, I was very surprised. I have to say the value for money was spot on. Itâ¬"s not like I donâ¬"t like paying for quality as Iâ¬"ve recently been to the Wolseley on Piccadilly which was fabulous but certainly not good value for money. The price of drinks at Los Locos is more like what Iâ¬"d expect to pay at a local bar not a West End nightclub.
We had shooters, cocktails and some rather naughty top shelf spirits, none of which broke the bank. The clientele youâ¬"ll find when the nightclub starts about 11pm are quite diverse which made for a really fun atmosphere. Lotâ¬"s of large groups of clubbers, all letting their hair down and really going for it. We met lots of really nice people even though weâ¬"d never met them before. That makes a nice change from the usual stuck up bunch you find in most clubs. The music was varied and kept at a great pace all night so we danced the whole night none stop. The staff were affable and some of them really funny and we ended up getting a free Los Locos T-Shirt, how cool is that! If itâ¬"s plentiful good honest food and drinks in a fun atmosphere and some dancing afterwards, Los Locos will not disappoint!

On a balmy night in London overlooking Tower Bridge there can't be many better places to spend a couple of culinary hours. It's about as good as it gets and the newly gentrified Shad Thames area makes a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of the well worn paths to the doors of West End eateries.

It trumpets itself as serving "British Classics" and sadly delivered "Carry On" food rather than Shakespeare...

On the night I eat recently, the food was not as good as I had a right to expect given that we paid around Â£70 per head in our group. Rather than cooking that demonstrated talent and verve, we got competence which was more than a little disappointing. Small things such a dry cardboard bread was not a good omen for what followed and whilst there was nothing heineously wrong with our food it just didn't excite. I had 4 small lamb cutlets, all bizarrely differently cooked - varying from rare to medium, the accompanying veg was overcooked, the steaks came as served and not one of our party was consulted as to how they wanted them - 2 were returned as one was blue and the other well done !!!

The desserts were all of Sara Lee standard and the cheese board came as advertised - Cheese with bread that had the consistency of Board...

Conran have taken this under their wing and much needs to be done to lift the food standard to befit the location. I've been there before and today had the chance to have another bite at one of their famous Piadines. They have 16 different varieties of piadines. Piadine zero for example has salame milanese and stracchine cheese, piadine nove has bresaola and parmesan and the one I had today is the piadine uno which comes with prosciutto and mozzarella. Whatever piadine you take you can pretty much guaranteed that the filling ingredients are quite fresh and tasty.

Armando is one of the best kosher restaurant i've ever experienced, the food is so immaculately fresh, althogh some dishes where not available on the menu thats understandable considering i've heard, this restaurant is after the freshest daily produce available and everything is done on the spot..that explains the time worth waiting for, it also provides a few daily specials. The place looks defenately clean, i could even see all the way into the kitchen thanks to a large open window. Allthough its Golders Green Road the atmosphere is trendy with a posh feel to it and after paying just 25 pounds average a person for a delicious sushi appetiser, a half kilo juicy rib steak so tender and perfectly cooked and a drink i consider that good value for my money. The place looks defenately clean, i could even see all the way into the kitchen thanks to a large open window. Allthough its Golders Green Road the atmosphere is trendy with a posh feel to it and after paying just 25 pounds average a person for a delicious sushi appetiser, a half kilo juicy rib steak so tender and perfectly cooked and a drink i consider that good value for my money. I'll certainly be back!!
