I lost my Renault key and the dealer wanted Â£172.00 to replace it and the told me it would take 2 weeks.

I called Finsbury Car Audio and spoke to a guy called Leonard. He got me a new key in 4 days and programed it. He also told me to bring my old spare key that hadn't worked for years and he fixed that.

My radio stoped working about 5 months ago and Renault quoted me Â£300.00 to replace it. These guys replaced my stereo, linked it to my steering controls, I can now play my IPod through the new radio and did the whole lot for Â£280.00 saving me Â£190.00 and giving me a way better MP3 Radio than Renault.

i have been given a great service at a very resonable price at this garage, work was carried out straight away without having to book my car in and wait and i was told of the progess every step of the way

Cant even give it half of one star,please beware when buying a car from these cowboys.
Bought my skoda there 7 months ago and paid Â£3000.Ever since then its been in 4 times for one thing and another,but then the latest.
Took it into a registered skoda garage last week whereupon i was told they had taken the engine apart and it was going to cost me Â£500,Not to be repaired,just for being looked at!!
So i have in effect paid Â£500 for something that hasnt fixed my car,its the same as it was upon going in.It was then given the news that cos the damage was wear and tear,thr warranty hl austin gave it was worthless and im not covered for wear and tear.
But if i want a new engine,it will only cost me Â£3000,what a bargain!
I have to ask why HL Austin sold me a car that seven short months later needs a new engine?!
When i contacted them to ask if there was anything they could do i was told if i didnt like it,go to trading standards which is exactly what i have done.
Trading Standards also wonder how the car i was sold can have been fit for purpose with an engine that needs replacing in 7 months.
This is my story and i hope you read it before buying a car from these people,if i can save someone else then maybe it wont all have been in vain.Cant even give it half of one star,please beware when buying a car from these cowboys.

i love this local find and would warmly recommend this to others in the area and nearby. total experts when it comes to BMWs, great service providers and brillant at keeping you informed. Can be difficult to get your car booked in as they are every busy but this only serves to demonstrate how good and valued this little garage is.I am delighted with them and only intend to use them for all my family's vehicles fron now on!!i love this local find and would warmly recommend this to others in the area and nearby. total experts when it comes to BMWs, great service providers and brillant at keeping you informed. I used Bill Bunn Motorcycles to get the MOT in June 2009. The only thing which didn't work properly was the rear light. However, they told me that there is a need to replace the shock absorber. I agreed (everyone has to make money somehow) although the shock absorber was completely all right. I picked up the bike a few days later and paid Â£250. At home I noticed that the brake/rear light wasn't done. Only stop light was working, not rear light. So I brought the scooter back next day and picked up the following day. There was another problem this time. Only rear light was working and stop light didn't. It was awkward for me to go there third time so I just let it be.
Unfortunately I was stopped by Police a week later due to this rear light problem and I had to pay Penalty Notice and my MOT was voided.
I came to Bill Bunn to sort this out and they told me that this is a different problem and I have to pay for the service and another MOT again!!! I used different garage this time and the problem was just a bulb!
To conclude, Bill Bunn Moto is useless in every (even the smallest) problem but they will charge you a lot for nothing. In addition, if you come back to complain they would definitely charge you again for something what you paid already before. Avoid this service at all cost. I had my Renault MOT'd here, and 30 miles later, the brakes slammed on and wouldn't release. The AA technician said that they should have been checked for the MOT. If they had been tested, they would have failed.

I took the car back to them, and they said it wasn't covered in any way, as it had been driven too much since the MOT - 2 DAYS!!!

After a lot of messing around, they eventually agreed to fix the brakes. After charging in full, the brakes are now noisy. Very noisy.
I told them about the noise, and they just said it was normal. Refused to help in any way.

It's been several months now, and the brakes are still noisy as hell.

Bought a car from this dealer a couple of years back, and was very impressed with the professional service received. The sales staff were friendly (I know they always are) but not pushy. Their cars were presented well, and most importantly, the after sales service was superb. We had a couple of issues with the car after a couple of weeks, and the dealer was more than helpful in resolving these directly, as oppossed to fobbing us off to the warranty company.
