Rating: 1.00It shouldn't be possible to mess a fried breakfast up, but this place truly did a great job in providing one of the biggest messes on a plate ever. Seasoned straight from the bin, the bacon came out in a beige grey type colour. The Black Pudding was cut from satans own brown cable. The Hash Browns were microwaved and the eggs had been left to cook in the sun on the pavement. Even the gypsy turned his nose up in disgust and left for the pub.

Was in Liverpool for a stag weekend, so feeling a little rough in the morning. Top Chef sorted that out brilliantly. It's a straightforward cafe, but with a mediterranean influence, so cooked breakfasts (English, Egyptian(?!?) etc), baked potatoes and sandwiches are order of the day (I think there were some mains on the menu as well, but can't remember fully).

Full English breakfast plus Toast & Tea / Coffee for £3.95 has to be good value in anyone's books, and although the ingredients weren't of gourmet quality, I've paid far more for much worse in the past. Orange juice was freshly squeezed to order and was another welcome recovery aid.

Friendly and prompt service meant that we returned the next morning for the same again.

Situated on Bold Street, the Tea House is very central and handy for a needy meal during shopping or for dinner. It is quite small, cafe sized so pretty good for a casual lunch/evening meal. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. As I chinese myself, I cannot fault the food, it is tasty and pretty good for chinese food. Reasonably priced, it is quite handy for the student pocket as well. It is very easy to become a regular to this place! Portions are big and the menu is very extensive. I believe there is also quite a bit of English food on the menu available, if you really wanted it! You will be spoilt for choice!

Would give this place far more than just five stars if I could, it is just wonderful. A real authentic Italian eatery with delicious food.
The menu is a mixture of salads, panini's and hot meals, such as meatballs and pasta dishes. The hot food is all freshly made and on display at the counter so you can see what you like the look of before ordering. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, happy to answer any questions about the menu.
It is very small though, which adds to the intimate feel of the place but does mean it gets quite busy.
It's a great place for lunch or an early evening meal (it's not open late at the moment), but also good to just pop in for a coffee and cake. Their coffee is one of the best I've found in Liverpool.

The Tate Cafe is a pleasant, stylish, minimalist arty type cafe. It is a nice place to stop if you are visiting the art gallery or the albert dock.
It is a cafe, so not the sort of place you'd go to for an evening meal (i'm not sure what time it is open till), more of a lunch or coffee place, but then again it is quite expensive so I haven't given it a high rating.
The food is nice, quite fancy, with tasty dishes like humous olives pitta etc. and the albert dock is a lovely location.

Best kimos in the city! You can't beat the original kimo's! The one on mount pleasant is nice too but this is the best! The food is all under about Â£6 and that includes massive pizza's, meat in pitta's with chips or rice, hummus, falafells etc. I believe all the food is Halal as well. Can go in for a cup of tea and a chat. Popular with students due to the proximity to the uni and the community college.

The food has a greek influence but you can get all sorts of lovely things. It is cheap, the staff are lovely and you can eat in or take out! Chicken Kebabs are legendary!!!

FACT's cafÃ© is on the ground floor of FACT, an art gallery and cinema complex in the centre of Liverpool. It serves soups, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes and nachos as well as the usual variety of hot and cold drinks to take out or eat in. If you do eat in you can also use the free wifi, there's always people typing away...

It is in a good location to drop into on the way to work, or to have a meeting out of the office, as it is open from 8am on weekdays and they have very tasty (and enormous) muffins and cakes as well as fruit salad and hot breakfast sandwiches. You can also buy alcohol and the centre is licensed so you can take your drink into the cinema!

The fastest breakfast in the west...well the North West. this place is a wonder of the world. you can order the best breakfast ever, do a hell of a load of good swaps..ie: change a black pudding for an extra sausage or the mushrooms for extra bacon and then see it get delivered to your table before you have even had time to grab your knife and fork! Don't let this speed put you off either, the food is top notch.... it is just that the ladies who work there are that efficient that they manage to serve it up real quick. Only bad thing is that is situated on the dock road, just up from costco, however this is ideal for me as it is close to work. The usual clientele are truckers and road workers. Make sure you pay this place a visit for one of the best breakfast meals in liverpool since TOGO's. They also have a large selection of other meals to choose from, all are big portions, they have good cakage too. Great little cafe to grab a fast, hot meal at a fantastically reasonable price. The ideal place if you need to get fed within the constraints of a 45 minute lunch-break.
They do a pretty competitive breakfast, and the rest of their menu is rather good too.
Fruity curry and chips is a winner. the waitresses are always great, they understand about precious time issues and will seat you, take your order, try their best with any special requests (good swapage allowed on breakfast items for example) serve you and get your bill taken care off in extra quick time. With its outside seating, this place is great in the summer. fenwicks...... great for workers on the go or with a clock watching boss.Great little cafe to grab a fast, hot meal at a fantastically reasonable price. But this place was fantastic, I feel sorry for all those who never had the culinary pleasure to witness this lunchtime delight. Their curry and chips where the best in liverpool. it was the perfect place to get a good hot dinner and b*tch about the stresses of work. This was all complimented by a fantastic friendly bunch of staff, by the end of the week you would swear they were family. they would not only serve you food but would lend an ear. When you were hungry and needed a hearty meal, there was the liver, when you were lonely and needed to express some deep frustration in some mindless banter with the head chef, there was the liver, like a bird of freedom opening its wings of love to every office worker in a 2 mile radius. Bring back the liver Cafe, not just for my sake , but for the sake of a generation, a work force, a region, a country.

Seating: about 20 tables plus bar stools, so usually easy enough to get a seat.
Sandwiches are the same as in any of the other Subway franchises. My personal favourite is the Veggie Delight on hearty Italian, with cheese and everything from the salad bar plus honey and mustard sauce.
Good value for adults and children - kids pack including a small sandwich, crisps or cookie and a drink is under Â£2, plus the thrill for my 3 year old to watch his sandwich prepared in record time.

One of the few wi-fi hotspots in formby Caffe Nero is found on chapel lane, the busy centre of Formby, not! What can you say about a chain like caffe nero? Rating: 3.00The sunshine cafe is exactly what you'd expect from a " greasy spoon". A selection of your typical fare, breakfasts, chips and spam, spam and spam, you get the picture. I've nothing bad to say about the sunshie cafe, in fact ive wolfed down a number of breakfasts there while nursing a hangover. as such the cafe does exactly what it says on the can, if your looking for gordon ramsey style fine dining, your obviously in the wrong place.
