After being unable to book amf with the kids due to a tournament, we took the short bus journey to hollywood bowl.

Despite it being a Saturday afternoon, we only had a twenty minute wait and someone came to get us when our lane was ready.
Snacks and drinks were reasonably priced and there was a good variety, the staff even proved a glass of milk for my youngest who doesn't drink dilute juice, you'd be surprised how rare it is for this to happen!

We had several staff members visit our lane ensuring we were comfortable and had adequate refreshments, the alley was clean and overall was a fantastic afternoon out! Virgin Active just off city centre is a pretty good gym- it has no complaints here!

Prices are about average but they do run promotions and offers. Pool is a good size as is the gym, the place is quite large and there is never much of a wait for the machines.

Staff can be a little pushy at times especially with upselling but they are very helpful and know what they are doing in terms of the machines and stuff.

Regular classes are run ie spinning, yoga etc which are fun to do and a great way of meeting people.
