I love this place! Halo used to be an old church so it feels a bit weird going in there to use it as a night club! I think the music is great for people of all ages and they have different type of music nights a few times a week so there is always at least one night of the week were you will find something suitable for yourself! I think the staff are brilliant. They are lovely and friendly and always have a chat with you. The drinks are also quite reasonable which is always a bonus! This is a great place to go for a bit of a dance with your friends! It does get quite busy at the weekends but overall a great night out.I love this place! when i went to the cockpit i didn't really like it because it seemed a little bit dingy and it is full of students. The music they play is ok but again it is focused on the younger generation. The drinks are quite cheap which is the only thing that keeps me coming back to this place! It is usually filled with the regulars as well as students but they keep themselves to there own crowd so i wouldn't say its a good place for making new friends! Atrium...what can i say? Well i think this place is great for the younger generation as they play very modern loud music! I have only been here once on a stag do and to be honest i was a little suprised that it was a nightclub at first as it is right inside the shopping arcade! I thought the drinks were a little bit expensive for my liking but it's quite big inside. It's quite modern which is what you would expect and it has a few floors and each floor plays a different kind of music. I found it gets a little bit overcrowded at times specially on a friday and saturday night. The staff are ok but you can't really have a chat with them because they are always rushed off their feet.Atrium...what can i say? This casino is brilliant. I have only ever been here twice but on both occasions i have had a brillinat time. There are lots of diffent arracde games to have a flutter on and sometimes they do raffles where you can win cash prizes and electricals. My wife won a stainless steel toaster and kettle last year in one of there raffles! The atmosphere in this place is great and the staff are very happy to help you if you are stuck on any of the machines. Overall it is a great place to go for a bit of fun and the food and drink isn't really that expensive. I will definatly have to go here again soon it has been a while!This casino is brilliant. The hifi club in Leeds city centre is great because in my opinion the cater for people af all different ages. Each night they have a different act and genre my favourite of which being the friday night motown night! Every now and again they get the odd famous person ih to perform. There was some famous jazz person in last week but i didn't really know who he was as i'm not really into jazz!! There is always a great atmosphere in this place and i come in here quite often. If you go to jongleurs, go for the comedians, not the food, atmosphere, drinks or after-show dancing.
The food is below par at above average prices, the drinks are ridiculously expensive and the after-show "party" is bad music for bad dancers.
Oh and stay away from bar risa next door too, chav heaven!

I am adding my review because I am shocked at how positive the reviews for this place are! I went along a few months back and had a terrible night. There were two fully blown fights where the bouncers had to step in and physically escort some lads out. It is packed full of screaming women on hen parties and men in ben sherman shirts doused in lynx. The music and drag queens were really good but all of this was marred by the clientele. It is located in what is increasingly becoming a rough area of Leeds - with Yates' over the road it would seem people spill out of here and go to the -within staggering distance birdcage. I always have a brilliant night at Mission. Thursday nights (homo) are always loads of fun. They have a choice of 2 rooms - one cheesey, one dancey, both are loads of fun. Slight downside are the mixed loos presided over by 2 bouncers usually, however this does keep them quite empty and they are big so you never have to q much. Drinks are pricey but no more than what you'd expect in a club really. They also have a vending machine with sweets and crisps in, absolute genius. Major bonus is that you dont have to go outside 'outside' to smoke, they have an area with no roof on so you're technically outside without leaaving the club. As much as I love and defend Flares at every given opportunity, the one in Leeds is definitley a disappointment.

Ultimately it is just too small. It takes absolutely ages to get to the bar, and when you eventually do you are greeted by rude staff who don't give a crap about you or their job. Also the toilets are situated in a stupid place, and again the queue is always huge.

On a plus side, it is filled with the typical cheese of Flares; mirrors, flashing floors, afros, and good old seventies music.

If you enjoy the music and the atmosphere you usually find in your nearest Flares, I'm sorry to say that you won't find the same experience in Leeds. I've been to Space a fair few times and have gained a very mixed impression. Some nights were absolutely fantastic and some, truly dire. I think this is because the thugs arrive at the weekend, and you really can't let your hair down and have a dance for fear of being punched, and during the week (thursdays in particular) the friendly students come to party. I may be biased being a student, but to be honest they're alot better company as they want to have a good night and a good boogie - unlike chavs.

So, if you go to Space be aware of what day you are going on as the whole night will depend on it. There are I think 3 rooms of music, one of them is terrible but the other two are good.

I agree with the previous comment that when drunk it is very easy to get lost as the place is like a maze.

Wire is great for house music in particular but also Indie and the latest releases you can have a good sing along to. A great student hub, and there's always a great atmosphere and crowd.

The location is perfect and great to end a night of touring Call Lane. The price is reasonable too, on a Thursday you can get in for Â£2 before 10 O'Clock and on a weekend the price is usually Â£6, or Â£5 with a student card. Downside for smokers is if you have to pay a pound to get a wristband in order to freely go inside and out to smoke. (OK it's only a quid, but it's the principle!)

Rating: 4.00Rehab in Leeds on a Tuesday gets this place 4 stars just on price. It's 80p in and 80p a drink what more can you ask for. It is mainly filled with students and you can get hammered for less than a tenner it is truly amazing. The music isn't that good a lot of cheesy 80's and cheesy pop but who cares when you have spent Â£8.50 and can't stand up. You might expect that because it is so cheap there is often trouble because scum are attracted to cheap places but this is a great and I have never seen any trouble if you are looking for trouble head to Walkabout the worst place in Leeds.Rehab in Leeds on a Tuesday gets this place 4 stars just on price. Haven't been to this place for about a year. What I can recall about the townhouse is that sometimes it gets really busy so it can take ages to get in. The music is mostly commercial type r and b and cheese. I think this can vary from night to night though.

I also thought that there was somewhat of an aggressive atmosphere around the place, something I have noticed when I have been in and not been drinking (as was driving)

That said I think it does have a good location compared to some other places in Leeds and is liked by some, but not by me.Haven't been to this place for about a year. My only ever trip to a casino was quite sucessful.
Napoleons is the smallest of Leeds casino's. Open 24 hours and serving a free cooked breakfast in you're in early enough.

I tried my hand on the Roulette table with a couple of work mates. Having put down a Â£5 original stake, I walked out Â£15 better off. Not huge money, but a 300% profit at your first attempt isn't to be sniffed at!My only ever trip to a casino was quite sucessful.

Heaven & Hell was the first club I was ever refused entry to in Leeds. Because my shoes weren't quite polished enough.

Luckily the bouncer gave us directions to where we actually wanted to be, but couldn't find!

Majestic was once thought of as one of the 'super-clubs' of 'up north'. When I lived in Lancashire, I knew people who would go for a night out at Majestic and then spend near Â£80 on a taxi home. They figured it was worth it.

Majestic has now gone forever, may it rest in piece.

Personally, I had no time for it. It was teh same nightclub you see in every medium sized town up and down the country. Not my favourite place to go. Ok, I was never going to give top marks, I don't like the music they play for a start, and thats the main reason for going to a night club isn't it?
