Tucked away in a small bay.The location is breathtaking and although getting there is a bit of a thrill ride but it is worth it.
The pub is cosy and inglenook beam style,with a terace overlooking the water.
The food is avarage and pretty plain as is the service.
I have had better value food wise.
However it is worth it just to sit on the terrace in the sunshine for an hour chatting with friends.
So make the effort and go.
You can get there by boat too if you have one to sail there !!

Decent place for a good night on the lash - always lively and no charge on the door, and feels laid back and welcoming. Decent music although dancing takes place in the low-ceilinged 'cave' at the back of the bar. May struggle to get anywhere to sit down, and can wait a long time to get served at the bar but thats true of everywhere. Good drinks lists including a decent selection of wine, and prices arent ridiculous. This dark higgledy piggledy cornish-seatown bar is warm and friendly, but finding somewhere to squeeze yourself after 9 or 10 may be a bit of a problem. The best thing about the chain locker is the outside seating area - lts of big have-all-your-friends-around-you tables, some covered, some not, with a view of the deep blue (well actually the fal!). A bar with an evening buzz - bring a coat and enjoy being outside with a beer in your hand - not often you can do it these days after all!

This is a fairly large wetherspoons called the Packet Station, serving the usual cheap food and drinks. Rating: 3.00Out in the country, the pub is a bouncy ride down small country roads. The staff were friendly, but the food is nothing special - i think that the menu is too big resulting in a hit or miss kind of dining.

This has been my local pub for three years. Lively at the weekends, there is a good pool table, darts and table football table.

They always seem to be playing motown music whenever i'm in there which i really like! Its never too rowdy and has a mixed clientele which makes it an interesting place to drink and socialise. They also have a garden space at the front with stunning views of the harbour.

The Seaview is not situated in Falmouth's main town area but it is definately worth the climb up the hill if you are looking for a cosy, friendly place for a drink. The Boathouse is a great little pub at the top of the old high street with views of the harbour. It has a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of clientele that makes it a friendly place to have a drink.

They serve food which looks and smells great but i have never eaten there. They have a popular sunday lunch. The bbqs on sundays are really good during the summer, and include roasted bananas and chocolate! During the winter they have outside heating which makes the balcony area not to chilly to enjoy the view. Dogs are allowed in the outside areas.
They also have a selection of games to play such as jenga, chess and guess who which always keeps everyone entertained.

The Grapes is almost like a pub of two halves. It can be incredibly lively in the evening with so many people rammed in there that you feel as if you couldn't fit in another, and it also has a quieter day time trade with plenty of people buying lunch and coffee. Of a night it's a young crowd, the kind that drink in excess and then try to pole dance around the pole there. (And that's just the blokes) It'a definitelly a place beloved by hen and stag parties alike. By night it's exciting, hot and busy and regularly has discos and other events.
The day time crowd are more of a working lunch kind of crowd, enjoying a bit of peace on the busy main street of Falmouth.
They've got a good juke box and a smooth pool table, bth of which are usually well used. The bar staff are friendly and they serve Fosters which pleases me.The Grapes is almost like a pub of two halves.
