Fast,efficient great menu they even have a phone system that remembers loyal customers - great if you are in a hurry... oh and the foods fantastic! Only negative is on street parking is at a premium at peak times. Rating: 5.00This is a good quality place to eat with very friendly staff and the always use top quality ingredients. The place is usually empty( although the restaurant is lovely) but the takeaway section is always busy. I recommend the Kung Po chicken, Chicken in pineapple, Char Sui, Sweet and Sour Cantoneses style, Beef or Chicken in Black Bean sauce and the egg fried rice are all exceptionally good! Boiled rice is nice and fluffy and the Crispy Duck with Pancakes is wonderful.I dont think I've had a bad meal from heresince I first came hereand I've been eating here for the last 10 years - or maybe even more! Rating: 3.00You would think that from reading my other reviews I frequent Beefeater establishments as a hobby! Not the case - they just seem to be around when holding a lunch meeting or looking for somewhere to meet and eat. I've been here on 3 occasions now, each time either late afternoon or early evening and each time the place was extremely quiet. The bar area is not too disimilar to the restaurant with the expection of the plasma on the walls! Usually I order from the snacks/bar menu which provides the usual burgers, baquettes etc and each time again I haven't been disappointed. I have been here once for a night out and quite enjoyed it. It is split over 2 levels a downstairs which is seperate from the upstairs.
Cant remember how much i paid to get in but i remember it being reasonably priced. I think the clientele were slightly younger in here than the rival nightclubs but overall was a decent mix of people. Even saw Russell Latapy (the Falkirk FC star) there having a good night. Then stumbling home, either that or just the way that he walked.

Storm nightclub is situated beside falkirk bus station and is pretty simple to find. I have been there on 2 occassions and enjoyed it both times. Though were both blurry memories!
I think it was about Â£6 entry on both nights i was there, as for drinks prices i'm not too sure but judging on the amount i spent i wouldn't say it was cheap nor expensive.
The size of the pretty is small-average with a dancefloor in the middle and 3 or 4 bars to the outside walls of the building. Dance floor is a good size and usually pretty busy.

Wetherspoons in Falkirk is a fairly new addition. It was renovated from an older building and now looks very modern. It is situated in a quiet street behind the main shopping street so can be a little hard to find if you dont know where you're going.
Inside it is very open and can be very busy on a friday and saturday evening. Proveing it hard to find a seat or table. It has a beer garden to it which i never used but seems to be popular.
Staff are very efficient and you dont have to wait too long to be served. I have never bought any food so cant comment on that but the beer is good. The Inchyra is a well respected and established hotel in the area. I would know cause i live up the road from it. I have only used the facilities once which was for a works function and was very happy with the set-up.
The location is a little out of the way, which means there is a little walk to any shops or housing. This may be a good thing though as it means there is no trouble and no nearby noise pollution.
I did manage to get lost in my time there due to the number of meeting/function romms and followed the signs to reception where the receptionist was very helpful. The 4 in 1 restaurants are a chain that were established in the mid 1980's. They own a total of 10 restaurant take aways all located in the central region of Scotland. The areas include Alloa, Bathgate, Bannockburn, Boness, Denny, Grangemouth, Linlithgow, Polmont, Rumford, Stenhousemuir.
4 in 1 operate a loyalty reward scheme where, like tesco, you earn one point for every pound that is spent. Once 100 points are reached you are posted through a Â£10 voucher to spend on food/drink with no minimum spend. They also do gift certificates which are useful for thank you gifts or birthday gifts.

The whyteside Inn is no longer in operation and has closed for business forever. There are now plans to build flats on the area, to much protest from local residents. So it looks unlikely there will be new ownership to make use of the facilities.
Though it has now closed i did get to use the place a couple of times for either family meal or family birthday functions.
The layout of the Whyteside was very open and had sufficient space, including a pool table. The staff were friendly enough and the toilets kept in ok condition.

The Peking Inn is a chinese takeaway on Polmont highstreet. There are a few take-aways in Polmont but i would have to say that this is my favourite of them all, and is the one that is regularly come back to use.
Parking is round the back and although parking is fairly limited, there is never much bother trying to find a free parking space.
The menu is much as you would expect from a chinese with a wide range of foods. The quality of the food is very good indeed and have never had a bad meal from there. Staff are also very friendly and apologize to you if you are ever left waiting longer than expected.

Taiyuan is a Chinese resturant and take away with delivery service that also has a hint of Thai. This review is specifically regarding the take away and delivery service, I haven't had the pleasure of eating at the restuarant yet.

The menu is fantastic. The usual range of Chinese dishes you'd expect are available, and a few Thai dishes too. All the dishes always contain good quality meat and are always plenty tasty. Prawn crackers are usually thrown in for free, or you can upgrade to the Thai style prawn crackers for a small charge.

My partner and I would eat from here every day if we could afford it and weren't trying to diet! The one thing that lets it down (i.e. 4 stars instead of 5) is the delivery service is sometimes a little slow. I recommend going to pick up the food instead as it is also hotter when you get it home.
