Cafe Boulevard really is a great place to eat I have been going here for nearly 3 years now and never had a bad experence.It can get very busy espically on a Saturday but they always seem to get the food out in about 20mins tops anyway the food is worth waiting for.
I would recommend the specials from the blackboard on the wall they change every week and are all cooked fresh to order they usually start at Â£6-50 to Â£7-50 and worth ever penny.
Cafe Boulevard is very family friendly and welcome children my childred like this place because the always get a Free lolly and love the soup and cheese pasta on the childrens menu.
TRY THE 2 FOR Â£11 MENU THIS IS THE BEST IN TOWN ALL COOKED FRESH TO ORDER TRY THE COD & CHIPS.

Have any choc bar made into a YUMMY milkshake, it's great for all choc and milk lovers and for those healthy gym types there are fruity smoothie treats. The staff are very very friendly. Well what can I say, if you are a fan of the great British Breakfast, then look no further. Cara's Diner will fuel you up for the day, with a great breakfast, without the grease and oil, that so often plague Transport Cafes. Located on the Greendale Business Park, just outside Woodbury Salterton, this cafe is a "must stop" venue for anyone in need of sustenance.

We visited this place as a family recently. I'd never been there before and was very pleasantly surprised.

It was a busy lunchtime weekend and we were told that there was a 25 minute wait for food. However, the food arrived much more quickly. The staff were really polite and helpful. There was a good selection of healthy, locally produced food on offer. Children could have a smaller portion of a number of the adult choices which made a change from the usual 'something with chips' available in most places. My son ate every bit of his shepherds pie with beautiful fresh veg. Our food was well prepared and really delicious.

I just attended the Best of Exeter networking event which was held at Fresh Cafe. The food was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly!

This is a fantastic quaint traditional Devon tea room and has one 'Best tea room in Devon' awards for a number of years and you can find out why when you sample some of their delicious food.

The owners have lived in Topsham all their life and take a great pride in offering the best quality locally produced food. There are fresh flowers in the entrance and on each of the tables. The tables have crisp cotton embroidered cloths which the landlady personally washes and irons. A great selection of teas including Gunpowder green tea which I highly recommend and a Georgian Rose tea especially produced for the tea room.

If you are there early enough you can sample one of the full English breakfasts, superb quality and taste. You could not cook it better yourself.

The landlady personally bakes the scones daily herself. Plus there is a phenomenal display of tea pots, many of which customers have given to the landlady.

There is a car park at the rear although it can be a challenge to park so you are better off using the nearby pay and display car park.

there are 2 problems with this place - it's small and expensive but i still give it a 5 as it is a top quality cafÃ©

the food and drinks are amazing with plenty of yummy healthy items to choose from - they also sell stuff to take away and it's all top quality

the only reason i don't go to the plant more often is its prices - i'm not criticising them for that at as what they sell is amazing but unfortunately i'm a pit too poor to eat there too often

it's very small though which is quite nice in a way (if you can get a table) as the service is personal & excellent

Get something warm and tasty off the drinks menu and take it upstairs for a post-shopping breather on one of the sofas. The white hot chocolate will warm your cockles especially with one of the flapjack type slices form the cakes cabinet. There's a chilled atmosphere and you can just sit and listen to the student chat filling the air, read a paper or play one of the games littered around the room. A decent coffee stop for a rainy day breather.

Word of warning the sandwiches are heavily overpriced, overchilled and flavourless. Not worth the Â£4. centrally located and a very impressive selection of food and drink - often gets busy but even so the service is efficient and the staff friendly - the food is very good value and vegetarian options are quite good - a good place to take the kids on a shopping day out and a very good place to go on a saturday morning after a friday night out if you've a hangover as that will soon go after eating some of their yummy food. Quality drinks as well as food so you can't go wrong really as long as you can get a table at this popular cafecentrally located and a very impressive selection of food and drink - often gets busy but even so the service is efficient and the staff friendly - the food is very good value and vegetarian options are quite good - a good place to take the kids on a shopping day out and a very good place to go on a saturday morning after a friday night out if you've a hangover as that will soon go after eating some of their yummy food. Real old fashioned but brilliant. Fresh and delicious my fave are the jacket potatoes, they are amazing! They do allsorts thought, sandwiches, quiche, farmhouse bakes, pasta, pizza, cottage pie, rolls etc... The cake selection is normally very good too with huge portions! Reasonable prices, some might think on the highish side but def worth it!Great place to take your mum!

When I'm on the run and need a sandwich in town I find the best place is Shaul Bakery. I go to the one at the top of South Street but I have also been to the Sidwell Street shop and they are also good. They have quite a good choice of traditional fillings so nothing fancy and if they don't have what you want they are always happy to make a fresh one. The ingrediants are fresh and taste great too. Michael Cane is massively over-rated. As it is in such an old luxurious building and overlooking the beautiful cathedral green, it becomes top of people's list when they want to impress someone. This is somewhere that only maintains a good reputation because everyone assumes it must be good because it is so expensive. It is not good. It is just expensive. The size of the portions are miniscule. You will come away hungry. The quality of the food is average but not outstanding. I would not eat here again. If it was reasonably priced I would probably be happy enough with the food but as the menu is so expensive, I expect a lot more. Lovely atmosphere and very popular with all ages. The food is cooked on the premises in the kitchen just behind the counter. There are a good selection of biscuits and cakes, tarts and gluten free products. The menu has some very interesting sandwiches and soups. The food is quite pricey and could put some people off. It is possible to take away some of the biscuits and cakes on offer. The chocolate brownies are extremely good - very moist, but small !! I had an extremely memorable meal at this Michael Caines cafe/restaurant last weekend. This establishement is next door to the Michael Caines ABode restaurant which unfortunately was not open for lunch on Sunday so we went next door to the MC Cafe Bar. It had a lovely, friendly atmosphere and the staff were very attentive but not overwhelming. The menu is innovative and not overpriced.

I usually avoid roasts when I go out to eat as I find they are rarely as good as you can make at home. However, as I really fancied a Sunday lunch I opted for the roast beef on the specials menu. It was fabulous. And at only Â£6.95 it could not be faulted. The beef was cooked just perfectly covered with just the right amount of rich, tasty gravy, crispy roast potatoes, a melange of vegetables which again were cooked just right not soft and overdone and the most perfectly risen and shaped Yorkshire pudding ever created!

For dessert I had Pear poached in Mulled Wine with Spiced Brown Bread Ice Cream. I know this may sound a bit strange but you just have to try the flavours together. Just superb and most suited to the festive time of year. I'm going to try and make this for my guests at Christmas/New Year!
