Rating: 5.00The Jasmine Garden is the best chinese restaurant in Essex. I rate it highley Iv'e been to many chinese restaurants but this is the best.
The food is fantastic, the service is excelent and the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Juboraj Express - A bit limp by ladyD

Rating: 2.00We ordered a takeaway from the Juboraj group. The fellow on the phone sounded really depressed and kept talking to someone else and I had to keep going over the order.
When it arrived we were very impressed with fancy box it came in. and it smelt lovely. We dished it out it looked gorgeous yummmm.
I had a korma it was lovely and creamy but bland. And the chicken chunks were tasteless. I wouldn't order it again. My hubby had a Jalfrezi, he assured me it was gorgeous. But...... our Nan bread breads were appalling. The menu said "Garlic Nan. Stuffed full of garlic"
But what we got was a limp half cooked nan smeared with a greenish garlic paste, tasted like it had come out of a jar. and probably had, such a pity and something I would have never guessed an outfit like the Juboraj would have served up.We ordered a takeaway from the Juboraj group. This is one of the best delis in Cardiff with a massive range of just about any kind of specialty foods you imagine: ham, olives, so much cheese, beer, fantastic bread, coffee, pickles and chutneys, honey, and so much more.

What makes it stand out for me though is that for £3.75 (if my memory serves me correctly) you can take away one of their amazing baguettes (or invent your own filling). These seem pricey but the quality of ingredients is absolutely top-notch and you will not be feeling hungry when you've finished!

The preparation can be a little slow so my advice is to put your order in, have a quick look around the arcade for ten minutes and then go back and enjoy your food.

The staff are so friendly and always happy to accommodate unusual requests, give out free tasters to help you pick the right cheese, and generally have a chat.

This is the best pastie shop I have been to and it really looks the part !! Its in the sity centre so really easy to access if you are out shopping for the day. Everything is cooked there so you can smell the pasties a mile away. Considering they are home made they are well priced and a good size. If you like pasties you have to pop in and try them. They do offer other things like sandwiches and also a choice of drinks. I wouldnt recommend for sandwitches just the pasties. I used to have this ice creme when I went to north wales as a child and was over the moon when I went here. They do the best ice creme in a wide selection of falovours and is not over priced at all. It also situated really well. It is out on the water so if it is nice you can sit outside. You can also sit in if it isnt very nice outside. There are lots of bars and foos places around this so it's ideal to pop in and have a ice creme on a hot or rainy day.
