3 of us called in on a Saturday afternoon, and although it was way after lunchtime, the staff were very obliging and we were able to order 3 excellent meals, and the beer was great too!!! Extremely good value and welcoming!! A good choice of well kept and well poured beers. Cosy inside and spacious, pleasant garden behind. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the menu is tasty and wholesome and good value for money especially before 7pm.
The Bar Billiards table is a fun novelty but I think the quiz is a bit too challenging though!A good choice of well kept and well poured beers. Cosy inside and spacious, pleasant garden behind. Nice and cosy with a good atmosphere and some good beer but the recent refurbishment is a bit synthetic. This has become rather a local pub for us recently, and one we take family and friends. The pub always has a friendly atmosphere, with cheery bar staff. The food is always really good, excellent portions at a good price. Good for vegetarians, even bringing out seperate vegi gravy. Proper puddings as well.

I love this pub, its one of my favourites,,,although anywhere selling yummy beer is alright to me... no its really good after you've been to marlowes....(theatre just near the canterbury tales)

Honestly though they have agreat selection of beers .... staropomen (yummy) becks spitfire etc and loads of others.

The staff are nice and very welcoming and the place is quite cosy...a little pub...but still loverly.

I have never tried the food there, but friends have said it was quite good.... may try it out this week as going to marlowes.... its a nice place from what i have experienced in all the times i have been ther.

I agree with the previous reveiws about the yummiest roast dinner around, they do a fantastic roast dinner, but due to the price of meals in the granville we only go for really special family occasions.

Its a absolute fantastic place though, there menu is beutifully created and some of the dishes are breathtaking... if you don't believe me try their duck....oh my god, fantastic!!

Its a gorgeously maintained establishment also, really light and airy, not sure how you can describe it...farmhouse chic!!! is that a style..haha!!!

Rating: 1.00I had not been here before until a few months ago, and a friend of mine asked me to go with her.... and i really sorry but i hated it.

Firstly it was not that nice inside, we waited for ages to be served, we then got the incorrect meals brought to our table, so they took my friends away and left me eating my starter alone, until they had redone hers.

The wine was nice, but the glasses were filthy , so i asked for two new ones and they brought me no word of a lie a half pint glass.....I just could not be bothered to complain then.
