Nadia's Patisserie is one of the best bakeries in Cambridge. There is a very wide selection of food to buy, sweet and savoury. It is a busy bakery - I have never seen it empty, a sure sign it is a popular place.

It is a very friendly place, with quick, efficient service and I love the signage inside, it gives the place a home business, local feel.

Personally I never leave without buying one of their massive chocolate chip cookies, moist and chewy with a melt in the mouth texture, they are not to be missed!

My only complaints would be the prices which do seem a bit much - the sweets aren't too badly priced, but the proices of the savouries is a bit steep. Also I wish it was bigger - it is a shame they cannot extend it as more space really is needed, trying to get in, make your selection and get out again can prove to be a tricky experience at busy periods, so very awkward if like me, you have a young child in a buggy!Nadia's Patisserie is one of the best bakeries in Cambridge. Nadia's have a couple of shops in Cambridge, offering a good range of cakes and sarnies to wolf down at lunchtime.
The friendly staff will make you up a sandwich of pretty much any combination (within reason) including things like peanut butter and banana (yum!).

But, whilst the sandwiches/baguettes are good (though i did get a soggy houmous salad roll once)... it's the cakes you really should be filling your belly with. They are fabulous. The cost seems to have gone up over the last few years (hence four/five stars) but the cakes are still fabulous.

If you're ever passing a Nadia's... pop in and grab a slice of banana cake (well, maybe not grab it, ask politely for it...). in fact, ask for TWO. and then eat them both before you've even got to the end of the road. Chances are you'll turn round and go back for another five (you'll want to share the greatness with your friends).
