Pretty good dining, they do an eat in offer which is £6 for any starter and any main dish. The food here was good as it wasn't low quality.

The service was a little bit slow, but we weren't in a rush. Lots to chose from and they will adjust disshes - e.g take out the chillie or add meat.

Friendly staff.

We went there on last Saturday for buffet. By the time we sat down, one of the waitress told us they were really busy and asked us not to order buffet or wait until they were free. We waited for about 1 hours until the food came and we have got only 45 mins to finish the food, some of the food were cold and disgusting and its not eatable at all!!!! When we asked for the bill, they forced us to finish all those food mentioned above. They said they need to charge us, one of them said he reckon us and said we should know the rules. (what rules?) To be honest there were only small amount of food left over and we felt so threaten by those waitress there. This restaurant is ripped off by picking every single piece of food u left over. Customer service is awful, the only good thing about this restaurant is the environment. It will definitely be our last time to there!!!!!!We went there on last Saturday for buffet. This is a first class oriental restaurant. The staff wear the traditional costumes and you are made to feel like royalty. Every time we come here we are always given a fantastic welcome by the staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. You never have to wait long after making your order and you are always made to feel as though you are the only person in the restaurant! The menu choice is as you would expect for an oriental, but the quality of the food is much better than other restaurants of this nature. Rating: 3.00The Dragon Court is a great big Chinese buffet restaurant. The food is plentiful and good. This venue is popular with office nights out and big family gatherings. It's ideal for after the cinema or the pool, as it is part of the growing Aspects Leisure Centre in Longwell Green, and there's plenty of parking too. What we particularly like about this buffet is that you can go up and serve yourself. As it is self service you can have as much or as little as you like. Takeaways are always ready really quickly, which is just what you want when you suddenly get that hankering on a Saturday night. Unless things have changed since the last time we had a takeaway, the meals are served up in foil dishes, which is annoying, as although recyclable, those plastic dishes that other Chinese takeaways provide are really handy for the freezer! We went here after working up an appetite after a long day shopping at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway. We decided to do for the all you can eat lunchtime Chinese buffet for around Â£7 each. We were both really disappointed with the quality of the food. We've had better Chinese food from our local takeaway! The food was lukewarm and didn't taste very nice and seemed really greasy. There wasn't much selection either (I understand it was lunchtime so there is less selection than in the evening.) So although it was all you could eat, we didn't eat that much. Rating: 4.00Bave New World was the initiator of the Karaoke Dining experience in Bristol, and as far as I know, the only left standing!
Its also a very bright modern place,at one end of the restaurant you have the tables, mainly seated in long rows, then at the other end, you have the stage ready for the moment you've stuffed your face and then are ready to receive your audience!

The food is set in very long serving trays at the far end of the room, theres the usual big mix of different chinese dishes, sweet and sour, curry, things in black bean sauce, as well as starters, of course chips as well!
But then you also have the soups and the peking duck. Theres also a wide range of drinks, with them being bar prices rather than restaurants. It can be a long walk from the food back to your table though so be wary of having too many drink and wobbling past the other diners!

New Worl proclaim themselves to be child-friendly, but I would be a little wary of this. We were going to be going there for my daughters 16th birthday and take along my 8yr old son as we had done on several occasions. But because it was a Saturday night I phoned to double check he would be ok to go.
And a good job I did! They informed me that they had no problems with children at anytime, but I was to be aware that they had a hen party that evening.
Not only that, the male stripper was booked for 7.30! Now I have problems with my 16yr old seeing a male stripper, let alone my 8yr old! Perhaps I'm a bit of a prude, but is a family restaurant the place for this? A fantastic chinese restaurant. I've been back numerous times since the first time and it just gets better and better. The best chinese in Bristol. The food is very fresh and tasty, it's reasonably priced, large menu and very attentive staff. My parents come all the way from Bridgend to eat there!! If you love good chinese food, look no further than Cathay Rendezvous.A fantastic chinese restaurant. I've been back numerous times since the first time and it just gets better and better. The best chinese in Bristol. The food is very fresh and tasty, it's reasonably priced, large menu and very attentive staff. My parents come all the way from Bridgend to eat there!!
