Rating: 1.00The rooms are larger than average, but I had a significant allergic reaction to something in the room. I couldn't stay there another night and declined the offer of risking another room.

Because I didn't know 48 hours in advance that I would be allergic to the place, I still got charged the full price for the night cancelled. If they had been fully booked, I can understand there being an opportunity cost. Obviously, they care much more about their profits than in the well-being of their customers.

This one we came for our treat to my little girls Birth day and we were not disappointed. The food is standard for a very convenient dinner out. The usual fish and chips, fast food vita a bit of vegetable. The service was ok the personal was very busy and willing to attend to your needs. the surrounding was very pleasant and the children could just wander around before their dinner was served. The bill was not very bight therefore we quite liked this restaurant. Rating: 5.00We come to this restaurant with a few of our friends and it was a nice and quietish place. It has an upstairs seating, not a very big restaurant, but they seem to fit a few tables in.We liked the choice of the vegetable the most a bit European. The menu is very varied, lots of vegetable, fish and of course traditional English meals - stake too.
I had some sea fish I never heard of, but was pleasantly surprised how tenderly cooked it was with boiled potatoes and seasonal vegetable it was a fab meal to have. The choice of wine is very good too and reasonably priced. Puddings we a must have for everyone.

Rating: 5.00I love this Harvester they have a big fish pond in the middle of the restaurant with some nice fish in it, though not for your dinner. This is a nice and clean spaceous and convenient testaurant. They have a salad bar and you can go and fill up your bowl any time all the time with the freasly presented salad and vegetable to acomplish your dinner. Good choice of food and very reasonable prices. We like the Chicken spitroast. Children always enjoy their little meals full of healthy stuff. Very good for families as they have high chairs and don't mind if your little one makes a big mess. Very friendly staff, always have a smile to give. They do an early bird offer before 6pm ,which is abouth a third cheaper. We have been in this restaurant lots of times and always received a very good service. They are full almost every time we come on the weekend so it is worth reserving your table or come early. We have a great time each time we come and the children love it there. For pizza lovers it is the place to be. Excellent value for money and you are stuffed comming home. If you don't manage to eat all your pizzas they put in a box for you to take home. My children love the ice cream factory you can go and help yourself to unlimited ice crem. Plus the sweet toppings like smarties, chocolate buttons and other sweets to put on your ice cream. Very well suited for families and babbies too. Best thing you can have a pizza before you go to the cinema which is right next to this. Rating: 4.00A reasonably standard KFC, but it's relatively new, so it's clean and fresh. The food is the usual KFC stuff - which the kids love. But even if they don't, there's a burger king right next door, so you'll be able to keep everyone happy.

There's a drive through for those in a hurry, and it's ideally located for a quick meal on the way to the movies (Vue cinema is next door too) or for a bite to eat before heading home.

It's also reasonably close to the Mall at Cribbs Causeway, so as there's no KFC in that food court, you can walk to KFC (about 10 min walk) - but drive if it's raining.A reasonably standard KFC, but it's relatively new, so it's clean and fresh. We find that Toby Carverys are genearally great value and the children enjoy them as they are not as structured as a typical meal out - it is also ideal for big eaters as they can fill up. We found this toby to be very clean and well kept - often in places like these the toilets get overlooked and the high chairs are grotty but here the facilities were fine.
This place had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and we didn't fel that by bringing three children we had disturbed anyone. Not bad. If you eat at lunch time then your pizza is half price at about Â£6. Only problem with restaurant is pizzas are too big but you are allowed to take what you couldnâ¬"t eat home with you to eat again. Open every day and open well into evening. If you eat at lunch time it is defiantly a bargain but if you eat during the evening, a pizza that would originally cost Â£5 at lunch could cost up to Â£12. There's ample parking here with good location of child and disabled spaces right by the store entrance.

Morrison's has good offers, especaiily the 50p price crunch offers on selected products at the moment.

Queues do get a bit heavy on peak occasions but they are manageable.

The pictures of concorde are a nice touch as a reminder of Bristol's concorde heritage and history.

2 downsides would be that there are no brakes on the trolleys which can get annoying, the other issue being that the petrol station always seems to be pretty busy, meaning queue times are a bit higher than desired.

Tesco do offer good prices and the clubcard points you can receive are an excellent way of getting money off of your shopping or better still, using clubcard deals to get free tickets for days out.

The food quality is good, but the last couple of times i've been to this store I have found that the fruit and veg has been a bit limited - they've tended to run out of stock on carrots and the like.

This venue really could do with a petrol forecourt to compete with Asda Walmart just a few miles up the road as we would certainly have reason to visit there more.

We regularly visit Asda due to their extensive range, ease of range, convenient hours and most importantly, excellent prices.

With the George clothing section you can kit the kids for school or get a new pair of footwear, whilst there is a film processing unit, cafe, electrical area and of course the main store where you can do your food shop.

We've never had any problems at Asda, whenever we've shopped (usually on a weekend) we've very rarely found an item out of stock plus there are usually some decent offers to grab. The self-service photo-processing area is a good way of printing your photos from digital camera very nicely.

The one thing i'd note as a downside is the length of queues. Usually there oare no more than 2 customers ahead of us, but when they have a lot of items to scan, wait times can be 5 minutes or so (haven't timed it so that's just a guess). Cannons Health Club opened a couple of years ago, above the Fresh & Wild supermarket on Queens Road. I joined on opening, & was impressed by the facilities & lay-out. It is not the biggest gym, but they have made good use of the space. Lots of gym machines, weight area, spinning area, & two studio classes, together with a supervised swimming pool, sauna & steam room. There is also a beauty salon upstairs, but this is pricey & hence I have never tried it. The main plus of this Budgens store is the location, bang right in the middle of the centre of the city, close to many office blocks & complexes. The store itself is fairly run-down & in need of updating, but it offers the usual selection of products, a newsagents, fruit & veg, refrigerated & tinned produce, sells stamps, lottery cards etc. I use it mainly to buy my daily newspaper & at lunch to pick up an occasional pre-packed sandwich, drink or magazine. It is usually very busy during the peak lunch-hours, when everyone is doing the same. Costcutter on Coldharbour Road in Redland is a little local mini-market offering a small range of grocery products including magazine & newspapers to the local residential area. You wonâ¬"t be able to rely on it to do your weekly shopping (the nearest supermarket is the John Lewis Partnershipâ¬"s Waitrose which is a short walk away), but for everyday essentials it is ideal & in a good location. Sainsburys in Clifton Down Shopping Centre is the main supermarket in the area & offers the usual wide range of supermarket products. It appears to be catered towards the student & young professionals market with one of the best deli counters, & a fantastic salad bar. It has the usual supermarket deals, & is the largest store in the Clifton area. Parking is available around the back, & if you spend in Sainsburys it is free. This Tesco Metro is a relatively new addition to Whiteladies Road. It is situated directly opposite the auction rooms & the Britannia bank. It was previously a general purpose Spar-type shop, until Tesco took it over. It offers the usual range of Tesco products, although at a few pence above the big supermarket prices. For anyone living nearby it must be ideal, as it saves having to travel to a big supermarket, as you can find most items here, including a bakery section where you can buy freshly-baked bread. Rating: 3.00The Dragon Court is a great big Chinese buffet restaurant. The food is plentiful and good. This venue is popular with office nights out and big family gatherings. It's ideal for after the cinema or the pool, as it is part of the growing Aspects Leisure Centre in Longwell Green, and there's plenty of parking too. What we particularly like about this buffet is that you can go up and serve yourself. As it is self service you can have as much or as little as you like. Bar Celona is an excellent restaurant offering Spanish, Italian and Greek food. How good is that? What a brilliant idea! The food is great quality, and there's something for everyone, from pizza to calamaris. We have taken our elderly granny as well as young children. The sleek modern decor is also very attractive and makes a great change in East Bristol, where restaurants tend to be more traditional. The Spanish tapas are really great, we specially like the king prawns wrapped in Spanish ham and the paella croquettes. There is live music on a Sunday night and Soul Train on the first Thursday of the month. They have just split the bar and restaurant into two neighbouring venues to make a night out in Kingswood complete.Bar Celona is an excellent restaurant offering Spanish, Italian and Greek food. Rating: 3.00This is a standard small McDonald's in a retail park that has Woolies, Next, Matalan etc. It has a drive through, but no play area for the kids. I gets really busy at peak shopping times, when you sometimes have to queue out the door, with nowhere to sit down to eat. Most of the time it's OK though.
It's about 8 years old now, so it's really looking a bit tired now, especially the toilets.
So if your kids are McDonald's fans, and you're going to treat them, then this is as good as anywhere else. There is a KFC about a mile away if you're looking for something different.
