The Six Bells Bicester is a great family pub offering Pool, Darts, Dominoes and Aunt Sally. There is a large child-friendly beer garden with outside bar, ideal for summer celebrations and BBQs. Children and dogs welcome! The 6s has live music and pub quizzes most weeks and also has 3 screens to show live sports (Setanta). It also plays host to the local Celtic Supporters Club. Who ever the person was who wrote the Penny Black is no good is kidding them selves.

Used to be a gem of a place when it was a Free House - now sadly part of a chain. Okay if you like chain places - I don't personally. I've been drinking here since I was (ahem!) 14 - I'm 42 now! Years ago this was a good clean establishment. These days it's gone to rack and ruin. Filthy, overpriced, the drains stink and they choose to do food as and when they want to.
