Poor service - avoid had great meal then the staff decided to ignore us and we left not ordering a dessert as it we lost the will.
Lot of other people were not as lucky as us - some appeared to have ordered and then left to ponder life for some time.
Avoid
This place tries to offer fine dining for Belfast - but they need to offer good service.
Was happy with the food but left with a bad taste in my mouth.

With every possile variety of spud and cooked to perfection, traditional or with a twist of spice this place is seriusly tasty, and if you are in a hurry then definately go in. I love this chippy, The staff are so friendly and I always get lovely food. The chargrilled burgers are gorgeous. They always ask what you want on your burgers and if you want salt and vinegar on your food so every taste is catered for. Rating: 3.00 Good food, good price, only complaints are in the decor and service.
The table plan is very compact, no matter which table you sit at you can almost certainly reach over to the table infront, behind and to the sides, this can make you feel very restricted.
It almost makes it impossible to have a conversation without at least ten other people also being able to listen in no matter how quietly you speak.
The service is probably a controversial point, the waiting staff are quick, polite and pleasant, but there is quite an obvious restaurant policy of clearing tables as quickly as possible.
If you like to sit over your meal and take your time dont go here.
As soon as your cutlery hit your plate the staff are on top of you trying to take them away.
Almost makes you feel unwanted, this is not a staff problem but a restaurant policy.
Having said all that the food is superb not a better chinese restaurant in all of Belfast food wise.
Very reasonable pricing as well but as in most Chinese restaurants make sure you dont get caught out as prices dont include chips, boiled rice etc. Good food, good price, only complaints are in the decor and service.

As I dont live far from The Edge I have visited it on many an occasion.
No matter the reason for going there either romantic valentines night dinner or large family birthday parties, the Edge never disappoints. It has a variety of different influences but all made with fresh local produce.
Service is very quick and polite and it never seems too busy so you are made to feel looked after.
Only piece of advice I would give is visit the restaurant between Monday and Thursday as the meal deal is excellent value for money, on a Friday and Saturday night the price might just put some people of.

A queue, a teenage birthday party at the next table with very loud screamy girls (okay, that could happen anywhere), a long wait culminating in a messed up order, rancid coleslaw, and then food poisoning. The Belfast Tourist Board should ensure every tourist tastes it just to make sure they come back. And the other flavours aren't half bad either. The only vestige of this being an old bank is the cash machine outside, but the Gourmet Burger bit is self explanatory. The burgers and salads are great (and there's an Ulster Fry on weekends too). It's family friendly and comes equipped with a plentiful supply of toys and games - so beware if you can't stand children playing jenga at the next table. You can't book and sometimes there is a wait for a table, but there are comfy sofas where you can have a drink and peruse the menu.

I live up the road from Bennetts so it is pretty much my local, and while it's not the fanciest place in the world, it is friendly with good bistro food and a nice atmosphere. The weekend breakfast is fantastic. For a great burger, the Gourmet Burger Bank just up the road is a better bet, but Bennetts can be relied on for a range of different foods, a changing special pizza, and the usual bistro-ish food. We go to TK One quite regularly, and we have never been disappointed yet. The food is fantastic, the portions generous and the staff are very very friendly ... and their prices are unbelievable especially if you get there before 5pm. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Have to say that the coffee served is by far the best in Belfast. The food is very tasty with a great choice so you never get bored.Also have excellent vegatarian options. This place is still settling in to a new location - the last place had more charisma... That said - "Eggs and Wheaten" was presented beautifully and promptly.

Past experience tells me that "the Big Breakfast" is a (cardiac) killer fry - that comes highly recommended.

Just awful, waited 30 minutes for lunchtime food (There is a lunchtime 'beat the clock' policy where it is claimed you dont have to pay for food if you wait more than 15 minutes). This was politely brought to the attention of a friendly male waiter who 10 minutes later sent out an incredibly rude female member of staff, who very loudly and extremely rudely argued we only waited 15 minutes. We of course paid, but the service was complete rubbish. Dont make a claim of 15 minute service when it clearly cannot be honoured. Very rude, unprofessional staff.
