There is a tendency among bar staff here to place unsold glasses and carafes of white wine in the fridge and pass them off to unsuspecting customers.
Even though refrigerated if in contact with the air, white wine will soon lose its flavour and taste.
This has happened to us on a number of occasions and the wine has had to be changed by defensive and surly staff.
It seems an unneccessarily mean practice for an establishment that sets out to be upmarket and trendy with prices to match -even though it is part of a pub chain. A treat for all the family every time! The friendliest, best service restaurant I've been to. You are greeted and treated like royalty - especially the ladies!
The addition of fish to their menu has converted father-in-law - the monkfish biriani is now qoted as a pinnacle in indian gastronmy! Never a dull moment or a duff dish (eat in or takeway, where your food is escorted to the door or car). Wholeheartedly recomended!A treat for all the family every time! Gregg runs this business from a farm in Wooburn Moor, and operates on a view by appointment arrangement only. When I first met him, he told me all about his own background, and how he runs his business, and I immediately felt reassured that I was dealing with someone with a professional outlook. The car was prepared well, and I made an offer subject to certain minor jobs being caried out. This was all done to my satisfaction, and Greg even agreed to deliver the car to my home as I had some pick-up problems. He accepts all major payment cards, and gives a 3 month warranty. Rating: 3.00Above average premises for a harvester. The decor is nice, the layout is comfortable and seating plentiful. Good sized car park too.

Although the latest harvester menu has a number of dishes removed it still offers a good variety and very good value for money - especially the early bird menu which is now available all week.

Look to the sky as the area around Wycombe is the home to the Red Kite (bird of prey).

Service was good and friendly.

The Food here is lovely, You almost always need to book in advance as they are often fully booked, occasionally you can get a seat without booking if there are just two of you though. It is busy for a reason, the food here is fantastic, you start with some evidently fresh and homemade dips to go with popodoms, these are fresh and crisp and still warm which is nice. they have a selection of dips in a pretty little tray and they are all delicious and none are too spicey. They have changed thier menu recently and now have an even bigger selection of dishes including things like mongfish fish curry and coconut spiced dishes along with the traditional dishes such as a rougan for those who prefer them. Everything is delicious, I have never not liked my meal here, the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth and the servings are a nice sized portion (if perhaps a bit big). The atmosphere in here is nice, they have an area with soft seats richly decorated in red and vivid colours and then a big conservatory at the back looking out onto thier beautiful gardens which you can eat outside in in the summer. it can get a little noisy in the conservatory due to the harsh furnishings but some people like that. The Red Lion Knotty Green is a delightful village pub which has been at the heart of the hamlet of Knotty Green since at least 1753. Offering a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike and situated at the hub of many well-trodden ramblers' walks through the Chilterns, it's the perfect spot for a well-earned drink, superb home-cooked food, a chat and much more.

The food here is simply excellent and a visit to the pub's Enid Blyton Room - with its gallery of prints and library of books donated by the Enid Blyton Society - is a must-see. The famous children's author lived for most of her life at a house called Green Hedges nearby.

If you like poor service and cold food in unimaginative surroundings then this is the place. Pretentious booking - we were asked to come earlier although the place was half empty and remained so. Staff who forgot (or never knew) "what am I here for". Poor lighting which lights naff pictures but fails to illuminate the food or menus. The seafood was okay though nothing exceptional.
