Same same has to be one of the best restaurants in Bath. Superb quality of ingredients, superb ideas, masterful execution. We visit Same Same for breakfast and dinner and so far is superb. Service is top class and atmosphere cosy and friendly. It is just a shame that is hidden away from all the lights that are gathered around Jamie Oliver's restaurant a few metres away. By far the best Cafe in Bath, always had fantastic food and service. Emma and her team are wonderful. I've never reviewed a place before but felt i had to having seen the previous review. It's a lovely, cosy, traditional cafe in a good central location. This is actually a coffee shop underneath a shop selling beautiful Swiss and Austrian decorations and toys - located a short walk from the Crescent in Bath. The shop is like Santa's grotto and the coffee shop in the basement is similarly decked out in fairy lights and decorations. We just had latte coffee - which cost less than Â£2 - but the strudel and cream looked delicious! They also sell things like nmuffins, flapjacks and brownies. If you desperately need a Costa coffee instead of any other type then avoid the mainstream place and go to the outlet in Waterstones. You can pretty much always find a seat, even at peak lunchtime, and it much cleaner and nicer. The service (although still on the slow side) is infinitely quicker here, also they seem to have more choice of food and snacks probably as they have fewer visitors. You can grab a table in the window and watch the world go by on Milsom Street and chat away the hours in peace, and I recommend the Orange and Lemon muffin too!!If you desperately need a Costa coffee instead of any other type then avoid the mainstream place and go to the outlet in Waterstones. The coffee is very good, hot and strong, all the usual ranges and choices on offer and thats the main thing right? There are a few cakes, biscuits and paninis on offer too which are all very nice with a coffee. The staff and service are fine, not overly chatty but this is because they are rushed off their feet most of the time. Its a tiny place often with a large queue and if you get a table at all you get hit by people's bags on their way past. One for a take out coffee i think. The famous Sally Lunn Bunn is a slightly sweet oversized Hamburger roll, but slathered in clotted cream and strawberry jam is quite tasty.
