Tafarn Y Fic is a great community pub, which has recently been upgraded and extended to offer food. There are two sides, one with pool with lcd tv and big screen, the main side has a real fire, and plenty of seating - blending modern and traditional.
Food is a relatively new thing here, but the quality is outstanding, from the cheap curry and pint night (serve yourself - guaranteed to fill you!), to the carvery on Sunday which has had locals raving of late - the menu is limited, but of great quality.
The pub is host to many community events, and sponsors local teams - there is always a spread laid on for an event. Rating: 4.00I usually go to Rascals on a Sunday afternoon just to chillax.Small Cafe Bar but really good atmosphere.

I haven't been there when its busy.Theres a pool table there and a few fruit machines. TV screens to watch the football as well.

The layout and design is not very good. I think it needs a little modernisation and a lick of paint but its not bad. They have just converted the upstairs of what I have seen over the weekend. I have no idea whatâ¬"s happening there as itâ¬"s not open yet.

They have a massive mirror in the bar as well the biggest I have ever seen. Really cool feature.

Nice relaxing environment 8/10

Rating: 4.00I go here quite often for a meal with friends. Its got a good atmosphere and great bargains to be had.

Monday to Friday you can get 2 mail meals for Â£12 was Â£10 but has gone up. Excellent deal if you go out with friends as you can share the bill and the food is worth what youâ¬"re paying for it. Really tasty food.

Good layout to the pub. lot of room to choose where you want to sit. Its really clean and tidy and the staff are polite and greeting.

Nice on a summerâ¬"s afternoon you can sit outside and check out the views over the Menai Straits.
