Really dissapointed with the staff service at the chip shop across from Pittodrie stadium. The staff members seem to prefer chatting amongst themselves at the back of the store, rather than serve customers. Even after you manage to make eye contact with them, they make no effort to come forward and serve you. And when they do come over eventually, they are slow and rude!
The other day I waited about ten minutes (to buy a can) but had to walk out in disgust when I got no service because the 3 (!) staff members were talking at the back.Really dissapointed with the staff service at the chip shop across from Pittodrie stadium. Best chip shop in town. Award wins equal to another well known chipper in town but the recent quality puts it far ahead. Chips are crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, they dont clump up and stick to each other. Fish batter is perfect, and their pies are gorgeous. All in all, best in town, best i've had in this part of the country, have to go much further south to a real twice cooked fat frier to beat!Best chip shop in town. Rating: 1.00Delivery Pizza in Aberdeen is very popular due to having 2 big Universities in the city but unfortunately the amount of business available and the undiscerning nature of their primary customers has made Heavenly Pizzaâ¬"s a little sloppy. Although the pizza was delivered within half an hour, inroder to make that delivery time I suspect they may have rushed the cooking. We ordered a huge pizza for just under Â£20 and it was undercooked and tasteless. I wish we had bought a few frozen pizzaâ¬"s instead. The Ashvale Fish shop is a well known face in the North East. For three out of five years in the early nineties it won Scottish Fish and Chip Shop of the Year, climaxing with the British Award: after this it decided to retire from the competition. There is an adjoining restaurant to the takeaway, both serving from very similar menus. Parking is rather limited, so in peak times it can be difficult finding a space even with the member of staff outside directing traffic. The food itself is cooked in front of waiting customers, and generous portions are readily given. Everyone surely knows McDonalds by now and most people will have eaten in one before. This one is in a good location at the heart of Union street, plenty of shops etc. nearby, so it's a good place to stop off for a quick meal.

The store is split into an upper and lower section, with loads of seating. It's always well staffed too with plenty of choice on the menu.

Just like Burger King, McDonalds is great value, quick and fun. You never have to wait too long here before getting served initially and your meal arrives quite quickly after ordering.

One reason I prefer McDonalds over Burger King is the fact that they always have their thick shake machine working!

This is an excellent little chipper! You might miss it depending on the route you take because it's just off Union Street, but it's usually where I go after a night out to get some chips and cheese!

The late hours make it an attractive option for those who are heading home after a night out at the weekend and it can get fairly busy at these times, so you might have to queue for a little while.

It has a good selection of fish, chips, pies, puddings etc. as well as drinks. It's also a bit cheaper than most other chippers too.

It may be a bit small at times to deal with the night-crowd, but the staff or always friendly and the food tasty and good value. A great chipper!This is an excellent little chipper! This is a great little chipper, a favourite of my mates when they come round to my flat since it's so close.

It's a nice looking shop, clean, with nice, friendly staff there to serve you.

They have an extensive menu which is clearly available to read on the back wall with the pricing etc. Plenty of fish, pies, puddings etc. they also serve cold drinks too.

There are usually at least 1 or 2 other people there, so you know the place is good quality. There are usually at least 2 or 3 staff on, so you get served quite quickly and the prices are good too.

This small chinese takeaway is located on Hardgate, the road that runs parallel to Holburn Street. The location is particularly relevant to me, since it's about 2 minutes walk from my flat!

However, in all the time I've lived here, I've only used Eagle May once. We phoned up and left our order and said we'd be there to collect it. They told us to come round in about 10-15minutes and our food would be ready.

We arrived and our food was indeed ready for us. The shop is nice looking and the staff were friendly. Sadly however, the food wasn't really up to the standard that I would have hoped.

I had chicken fried rice and chips. Although the portions were nice and large, the taste wasn't great. I had to pour quite a lot of my own soy sauce onto the chicken fried rice and the chips were just awful, soggy and not very nice at all.

Well it's Burger King, you pretty much know what you're going to be getting when you come here!

One great advantage of this particular outlet, is that it's open very later hours at the weekend. Perfect for people feeling hungry after a night out but who don't fancy having a chippy or kebab.

There's always lots of staff on, so you get served quite quickly. Food here is always nice and cheap but I still think its nice!

The place is an adequate size with enough seating for the night crowd. But the one thing I don't like is that quite a few times I've been and there thick shake machine hasn't been working, so I've had to settle for coke!

What an amazing place, I've used it since I started at Aberdeen College. Terrific sandwich bar, really unique flavours (try their slapyamama). The sandwiches are big, tasty and great value.
