This is a great place to with the kids, you can spend all day here no matter the weather. What with the fair ground the crazy golf (two of) bowling, and cinema all in a short distance of each other. Plenty of places to get drinks and snacks, and when you had enough and need a good meal you don't have to even leave the place just walk to one of many restaurants along the sea front. All at different levels of price so can suit all pockets.
You got your TGI'S Fridays, Pizza Hut, and so on to many to list. TGI'S serve a wicked oreo cookies milkshake and food here is at a good standard.

This is without a doubt my favourite cinema in Aberdeen.

It's not as large, nor in as good a location as Cineworld at the beach but the prices and special offers are much better at Vue.

Tickets are still almost Â£7 on most nights, but Tuesdays are the best thing about this place. All day, the price for a ticket is just Â£4.25. You also get a special voucher for money off your next visit too.

The queues at Vue also tend to be shorter too, it's not quite as busy as Cineworld. The overall facilities are probably not quite as good as as Cineworld, but the prices/offers make Vue better for me.

The staff are friendly and the toilets clean, so Vue gets my vote.This is without a doubt my favourite cinema in Aberdeen.

I have been to The Lemon Tree several times, but mostly a long time ago. I had been very impressed with it - great vegetarian selections with some real imagination instead of veggie lasagne (which ok is usually good) or mushroom risotto. This last time I was really disappointed. it was like food was an afterthought, the choices were limited and not very exciting, as if the zest had gone from the place. Which may well the case since the future is uncertain. it seems odd that a place like the Lemon Tree is struggling to survive, but hopefully they will make it work and recapture some of the magic that it used to have.I have been to The Lemon Tree several times, but mostly a long time ago. This is the best cinema for the latest release type movies - great seats, staff are fine and they tend to show more films than Vue, and for a bit longer. The price - well, its the same wherever you go now. Cinema tickets are expensive, adn the food is silly prices. When I take the kids I buy one big popcorn and share it between the three of us, as the small isn't really all that much cheaper. Same with drinks/sweets etc - it all adds up to be silly money to see a film.
