If you don't know the story, Anne Frank was a young girl who spent several years living in a tiny section of a house with her family and some family friends, hiding from the Germans because they were Jews. Once you know the story, it is really amazing to see the actual tiny room where so many people lived for so long. There is an easy to follow route around the house, and displays on the walls which tell you about the room and link it back to Anne Frank's diary. There are also some video displays which you should stay and watch as they help you to understand. Its quite a sobering experience but definitely worth a visit. Sometimes the line to get in can get quite long so I would recommend going later in the day, but make sure you leave enough time to see everything. This Anne Frank Museum is definitely worth the visit.
