A small, cool and very stylish shop offering styled streetwear from up north. It offers Cheap Monday, Elvine, Nudie and Dr Denim as well as independent brands such as Uniforms for the Dedicated, Fienden, Jim Rickey and FrÃ¶ken SÃ¶t. Rating: 3.00I spent a night at the hotel on a business trip and the promoter put me in the business suite. A 100 sq metre room with designer furnishings, Starck lighting, Tivoli Audio and Molton Brown bathroom goodies. Worth noting that my room also had access to a shared "private" terrace... I was unable to explore though as I didn't spend that much time at the hotel. For the little time I spent around the hotel, it seemed as though the city centre was probably a good 10 minute walk but very close to the museum quarter. Clean, modern and spacious, the hotel was designed by Terrance Conran. Going to a place renkowed for schnitzel you expect there to be a large focus on meat - and there is - masses of it in fact.

I wimped out and went for the 'small' schnitzel which could feed a family of 4 - other customers were wrapping up their 'normal' sized protions in napkins to take home. But beyond the gargantuan protions the food was excellent and if you venture off the schnitzel path there are a number of other excellent choices on the menu including black pudding, baked with potatoes.

The only down sides being the lack of vegetables and the wine is only ok.

The Oesterreicher is in Vienna's modern art museum (closed Mondays but the restaurant is still open). The interior is dominated by a chandelier made of clear wine bottle over the bar - an art installation in itself - and the restaurant is actually very large. In summer there is an open-air dinning area in a sheltered areas at the back of the building which is great on a summer day.

We focused on the wine and cakes on this visit - which were excellent and the staff were attentive and knowledgable about the food and wines on the menu.The Oesterreicher is in Vienna's modern art museum (closed Mondays but the restaurant is still open). Flanagans is a centrally located Irish Pub in Vienna. It was opened in 1996 and voted the best Irish Bar in Europe for 2004. They have Irish, Austrian and other international beers on tap.

Apart from that a large selection of traditional pub food is on offer. Prices are probably a bit higher than in other pubs in that area, but still reasonable. Due to its many international guests, Flanagans is a perfect place to get in contact with other people.

Admittedly I have strange tastes, but this museum turned out to be worth it. It is underground, in the air-raid shelter of a Nazi-era anti-aircraft tower. They have scenes depicting various types of torture through the ages, with explanatory panels in German and English. I guarantee it will make your skin crawl.
