Perhaps, your shaking your head at the prior review of "priorchef" It all seems a little bitter sounding to me. To be fair, let the prior reviewer list his accomplishments or failures in his work history before lashing out at a establishment. Also he should state that he left the owners under less than honorable circumstances. After qualifying his history without embelishment, he may want to change his publishing name to Richard Cranium, but I digress.
When first arriving at the business one notices the beautiful landscaping and cleanliness outside. This is extended inside by tasteful and extensive seasonal decorating of the dining room and bar area. Friendly owners greet you and employees go out of their way to make you feel welcomed, comfortable and at home. After you settle in for a cocktail and get past the ambience it's time to notice the cleanliness of the facility. I have had the oppurtuinity to see the behind the scenes facilities of many, many commercial kitchens. With the exception of a chain such as McDonalds, no other place matches in sanitation and order as this kitchen facility. Any comparison to a chain establishment ends there.
All food is of high quality. Prepared freshly and under the scrutiny of the owners. If you don't think your food is "right" they go out of their way to accomodate your specific taste.
Yes, I was told of the accusations by the former employee by the owners, about a dog on premises. However, I do know that a inspection and review by the Health Dept. turned up no actions or discipline being taken by them towards this business.
Please don't let the actions of one hateful person persuade you from missing this wonderful business.

Very Poor Restaurant 19th August 2008

I have had the experience to work in this restaurant for a very brief time. The reason I left is that the Owner/Operator feels that since she now has a partial ownership she can do whatever she feels. Just a warning to potential customers, she has a dog that lives with her in this establishment and gives it a weekly bath in the kitchen sink in the restaurant.... Bon Appetite..... Not even worthy of the one star but I had to click something of it would not let me publish!!!!
