We have been going to Lotus East, St. James for eighteen years. We usually take out food. Ed, Manager and other staff very friendly. Food is very good. Restaurant will make your order to your specifications. We have been loyal customers.

Our dining experiences have been great. The food is very consistent. We enjoy it very much and continue to be customers for eighteen years.

Dining in we have had various degrees of service. We only had one bad experience (left one night as a women gave us a selection of any table when we selected the table away from the windows she was very annoyed with us as was another waiter)

The photo on the website we saw did not match the restaurant.

We would highly recommend the restaurant. We have been to various restaurants from Manhattan across the country where ambience is not everything. The food is.
