In retrospect, every guide book, review and article about One If By Land... uses the same adjective: romantic. It's not an overused term - this place is... romantic. I did not know this before we got there. The ambiance could not be more perfect for a romantic scene!

In retrospect, every guide book, review and article about One If By Land... uses the same adjective: romantic. It's not an overused term - this place is... romantic. I did not know this before we got there. The ambiance could not be more perfect for a romantic scene!

I took my girlfriend there on our anniversary as I was unable to get a table at any of my choices (everywhere had month long waiting lists). We went for the tasting menu... USD300 before tax/tip including the accompanying wines. The food was delicious and well presented, crossing fine line between European / American contemporary and almost molecular gastronomy on one maybe two dishes.

A great experience!
