Our family have stayed at the Casablanca hotel, in New York, two years in a row now, because we have been so impressed. The situation of the hotel is ideal - right off Times Square on 43rd Street. It is adjoined to an authentic New York Italian restaurant - Tony's, the food there comes in portions large enough to feed three people and is delicious, the atmotsphere is always buzzing, there are always queues, so a reservation is recommended. The hotel itself is fairly small, but the rooms are standard size, very clean, air-conditioned, quiet, well-furnished, with television, CD player/radio, minibar. The staff are so friendly and are always willing to recommend attractions, restaurants suited to your needs (with a smile). In addition, a complementary breakfast is served every morning, also from 5pm to 8pm (if i remember correctly) complementary wine/champagne and cheese are distributed amongst the dining room, providing a friendly atmosphere. The Casablanca is rated number one on trip advisor for their staff's frindliness, and also has a 5star diamond award. I'd recommend this hotel to everybody as our time there was flawless.
