I'm a big fan of Mexican food and there are many places for good tacos and burritos in the Twin Cities. Pineda stands out because of their flavor. Asada isn't just asada and the al pastor is to die for. Pineda has a large selection of meat and other fillings for the tacos, burritos and tortas. While many gringos will have their tacos on a flour tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese I prefer the traditional flavors of a corn tortilla, cilantro and onions. The atmosphere is similar to a Subway restaurant and the prices are very fair. I would recommend that you try Pineda next time you're in the neighborhood or craving some authentic tacos or burritos. If you've never had one, and you are really hungry try a torta; they are delicious!
