Bistrot Lepic

So to cure myselft I would go to Bistrot Lepic, named after the street the Head Chef used to live in Montmartre (and where I was born!)
At one point this restaurant was in the 100 top restaurants in the US.
The menu is just like what you would get back in Paris with a mix of traditional and inventive French Cuisine.

When I used to live in Washington, I had my moments of real home-sickness and french food and athmosphere was just all the time in my mind.

Whereas the ground-floor dining room is bright and snug, the second-story lounge is dim and cozy, arranged with chairs that seem to wrap themselves around you and low tables for holding cocktails or "appeteasers." Those would be the small plates of food -- scaled-back versions of the French bistro menu down below -- that make such nice companions to a cocktail or glass of champagne.
