This place has won awards for the best burritos in San Francisco 10 years running and, despite not being a huge fan of burritos, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I was taken to this place by some local people who were showing me round the mission and said I shouldn't miss it - always a good sign I think! The place is colourful and was very busy when we went, we were lucky to get a seat but I’m glad we did because we got to experience the burritos and the atmosphere too. I chose the standard beef burrito which was delicious but quite spicy, and too big for me to finish! If you do not like things too spicy – beware of the innocent looking salsa, it’s fiery!

One of the best vegetarian burritos in the world. I do not know how they do it, but they always seem to have the freshest avocados.

The carne asada plate is also awesome. You get a lot of food for a great price.

Just brilliant. Cheap, unassuming and tasty, you can't go wrong here. It's delightfully messy, serves Negro Modelo beer and makes its own salsa and guacamole. And when you're drunk - it all tastes ten times better.
