I can vouch for efes without any doubt at all its the best kebab, very good price and generous portions indeed.
the staff are very polite and the food is fresh especially the salad.
Efes is without doubt the best kebab in york the pizzas are awesome too.

Efe's a studenty institution. Add the words 'dive', 'greasy' 'fried' and you're under no allusion as to what this particular little establishment has to offer.

Unsuprisingly its location is on york's student mile of heslington road. look out the window and you can see the streams of peoples walking up the campus, yes even at 2am when people have failed to catch the last (chance) bus from town.

Go only if you're very very very inebriated, or you just like students and smelling of chips.
