I really can't praise Bullivant's highly enough! It's fantastic! My family and I have been going there for years and although it's changed hands once in that time it hasn't changed in any other way - the menu is exactly the same as it used to be with a fantastic range of food covering everything from light snacks (such as Cinammon Toast), through delicious main meals, jacket potatoes, toasted sandwiches etc, to a great range of home made cakes. My personal favourite from the menu is the homemade chocolate scones with chocolate spread and clotted cream - yum! The food is always excellent, as is the service, and the surroundings are a wonderfully unspoilt step back in time to a quieter age - a sign discreetly asks you to turn off your mobile phone - fab!!!
