British food - pre any celebrity cafe and come to the Delia (first time round - thou she might go for this in here more recent manifestation).
A canteen feel and the food is what you get in institutions. Good location and 'family' feel. There are far better places in the city for less cost but this is safe - thou not good news if you are a vegetarian - suppose that is not British!
