Reviews for The Ackhorne

Nestling down a cobbled street, just off the Hen & Stagfest that is Micklegate on any weekend, is the homely and down to earth Ackhorne. Locals know a good pub when they see one so you'll find it busy most nights of the week but no less welcoming all the same. Really well kept real ale (including local favourites such as Yankee Rooster), ciders and continental lagers ensure you'll not have to move on if you don't want to and there is a small patio at the back if you want a breath of fresh air. A stones throw from the Golden Ball and The Swan - completing the Three Musketeers on the South of the River
