Reviews for Museum Gardens

The Museum Gardens are a lovely place to stop and relax in the middle of York. The gardens are lovely and have various paths to walk, including some that sneak through bushes and trees - always a favourite with kids. There is access from the gardens to the riverside if you'd like another picturesque place to stroll. There is plenty of green space in the gardens to sit down, read or have a picnic. There are some benches as well as vendors. If you do have a picnic, expect pigeons!! The gardens do get busy on sunny days, but are a great place to meet up and enjoy the surroundings.

As the name suggests, the Yorkshire Museum is located within the grounds as are the ruins of St Mary's Abbey. A ticket to the Museum is good for an entire year.
