I visited here on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago with my other half and we both ate. The food was great, really well cooked steaks and my partners mixed grill was huge – plus the treacle sponge and custard desserts were big enough for two . The pub is a branch of Lloyd/Wetherspoons so they have a DJ there at weekends and he was very good – had everyone up dancing. The pub isn’t as big as the others I have visited and it is a little downmarket even though it hasn’t been open long. Plus the toilets were none too clean apparently.
