A fantastic little find, all you need to be shot back in time is a meal here, into the Dome for a film and then your date can walk you home and hope for a peck on the cheek at the door. Yummy retro but not for those in a hurry.

This place is dope on plastic.

Old school cooking redolent of what was conceived as modern in the 70's and 80's.

Crazy opening hours and no license adds to the charm.
They charge a pittance for corkage and that means you can drink some real quality

I have organised a couple of privately cooked dinners here with the choice of of music being supplied by my MacBook connected to their stereo while 16 invited friends ate stuff that Delia was cooking the first time round.

Great dishes never go out of fashion, they come to Hitchcocks.

Family run restaurant on Worthing's seafront close to the pier.

Step back in time and don't be put off by the uninviting frontage/decor of this cafe/restaurant. There is a distinct rustic feel to this place and be warned that service is not geared to be quick (although slightly quicker service for the drinks would be welcomed).

As you'd expect from a family run restaurant the people are friendly.

Not a vast menu but a decent range of home cooked fare. The portions are not that generous but given the price that was ok. The quality of all our meals was excellent.

They are not licensed so you can bring your own wine - corkage was £1/bottle.

Note: closed Mon and Tue and dinner on Fri and Sat only.
