Awful, awful, awful!

My girlfriend and I visited cafe unico just by Woodford station on a Wednesday - hardly a busy night - and were disgusted by the poor level of service we got. Honestly, it was a joke. I've never written a review before but I am now, showing how strongly I feel that this needs to be reported.

For starters, upon entering Cafe Unico we were left standing for a few minutes before someone could be bothered to seat us. There are probably around 40 tables in total the majority being 2 seaters. We were sat slammed up against a wall crammed with people to our backs, coupled with a rickety table. Joyous. There were 6 waiters/waitresses. Once we got a menu it took over 30 minutes to get someone to take our order, and that was only after asking 4 out of the 6 waiters!!! The laugh of it being that at least 3 waiters were always chatting behind the bar. Once served the food was ok, standard italian stuff really nothing particularly special or memorable about it.

Our meal was interrupted at one point with another order being sent to our table, which eventually found the right table. However, that order was still placed on our bill at the end! Of course I still had to go to the bar to talk through the bill, DESPITE me sitting at the table with my hand in the air and being acknowledged.

Furthermore, the place itself is very hot (we were in the middle) unless I guess if you're sat by the door where you'll get blown to pieces...as there's no draft lobby.

Needless to say I wont be going back there or recommending it. Complete shambles of a place.
