I love this place, very relaxed and good beer on offer. Gorgeous old building, great location and ample parking - an all-round hit!

It's not cheap though, my brother used to run a pub in London and his prices were cheaper!

I visited with family to celebrate a birthday and was not disappointed. The menu was extensive and featured an impressive amount of local produce.

I had a beef and ale pie for my main and it was very very good, all the veg was evidently freshly cooked which makes a change for pub food, we all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere is very nice, log fires, warm and cosy.

No complaints on the food or the prices, we thought it was very reasonable and the service was attentive too. Desserts were a particular highlight, I had a cheesecake which was incedibly good. This place is great for family get togethers and celebrations.
