Reviews for Half Moon The Public House

My family and myself were travelling back from Legoland when we decided to stop off at a pub before we got onto the motorway as we didn't want to eat burger king or such like. We found this quaint looking pub and thought it was ideal. Unfortunately we were wrong! The waitresses were lovely and a real credit to the place but the chef wants sacking! We have had better food at our local Tom Cobleigh and the burger king was a better option! I had the chicken supreme which was just a piece of chicken in a thin greasy sauce and my husband had a curry which was wishy washy too! Food was only luke warm and that included the coffee, must say the childrens menu was good value and they enjoyed that, though don't think you can go far wrong with chicken nuggets and chips! It was such a disappointment as it's a lovely pub and with the expensive prices we thought we were in for a treat!
