We've been coming to the Lake District for many years now, and have always stayed in Ambleside. Deciding on somewhere different we chose Bowness-on-Windermere and this will be our destination of choice from now on since discovering Jintana's. Its on the hill in Bowness upstairs on the first floor and when you get to the top of the stairs you can see what a lovely plce it is. We've eaten Thai all over the UK before but this is the best and remined us of a trip we took to Thailand. Waiting staff are friendly and knowledgable about the food and the singha beer is nice and cold. Theres even some Thai wine which was really nice. My only complaint - they dont have a branch in London.
