The Winchester Royal, Winchester
Considering its central location in a street behind the High Street in Winchester, this historic hotel is a haven of peace. With the benefit of private parking it is ideally situated for exloring the city and the surrounding area. Its central location does, however, involve negotiating the one-way system around the city and prior study of a map makes this easier to perform.The hotel has its own beautifully kept garden where guests can stroll and relax.
The bedrooms are of good size and all en-suite. Diners can choose from the main dining area in the conservatory overlooking the gardens or enjoy a range of bar snacks. The breakfast, including full English breakfast, is also served in the conservatory.
