The interior is a little worn and some of the chairs need re upholstering or throwing away. It is an old style pub with flags on the floor and lots of pictures of Ashton from years gone by. It is a little part of Ashton history really.
On a down side the ladies toilets are full of grafitti, and ther are only two or three which is a pain for a busy pub. The bar is well stocked...

This pub does have a good atmosphere. It has karaoke on a saturday night which is good fun.
The interior is a little worn and some of the chairs need re upholstering or throwing away. It is an old style pub with flags on the floor and lots of pictures of Ashton from years gone by. It is a little part of Ashton history really.
On a down side the ladies toilets are full of grafitti, and ther are only two or three which is a pain for a busy pub. The bar is well stocked and they are reasonably priced. The Red Lion has a late licence so you can always get a drink late without having to pay to get in a club.
On the whole it may be shabby but I have never been in and not had a good time. If you are in Ashton on a night out it's worth popping in.
