Whitstables trendy bar
Pearsons was the first restaurant I ever ate in over 8 years ago. Back then, it was a very simple and typically english boozer that happened to have an excellent restuarant.
Well, times move on and the pub and food deteriorated.
However, recently it has been given a make over and it now looks very contemporary indeed, and you would forgive yourself for thinking you were in some swanky clapham bar not CT5. Anyway, the pub itself is ok. Good selection of drinks and something a little different from what you normally get in Whitstable. However, it is pricey and the service was not all that great and I had to wait a lot longer than I would have liked (and this was a not so busy Thursday).
The food is also getting back to where it should be, and whilst again it was a little pricey, it was on the whole worth it.
I would probably only come here for special occasions or for a change of scenery.
